problems

New user, made a donation, received the email very soon after, and am attempting to connect and receive.
New install on a linuxmint, 3.13.0-37-generic #64-Ubuntu SMP, on an Asus laptop.
I have made attempts using a couple different methods, most have been referenced in these forums.
Method 1
Install Kodi, via apt-get install kodi kodi-pvr-stalker kodi-pvr-iptvsimple
this brings in stalker version 0.8.3, from dvbken
this version appears to connect, receive some info, then disconnects, and errors out
apt-get remove kodi kodi-pvr-stalker kodi-pvr-iptvsimple

Method 2
Install Kodi, via apt-get install kodi, download the zip file for stalker, pvr.stalker.wind-0.8.3.zip, install from zip, select the file, and install
this results in many errors, and does not connect to the server.

Is there a wiki, sticky post, or some other available resource, that defines what is the CURRENT information as to what is required AND current as to the addresses that are required?
There seems to be a need for a page that details the required info, how to change your MAC,etc
Has there been discussion about a wiki
Thanks for the effort in putting this out, I certainly do appreciate it, and will continue to support you, just need to have a little more documentation.
I hope to be able to, either attatch or link to my logs.

your missing a /

also for kodi(considered a emulator) your suppost to use a 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX mac.it will work with 79 like you have it buts were suppost to use 78.u will need to change it via the donation checker like you did when u first registered it.

The portal address has been corrected, also MAC is: 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX

confirm your using iptv stalker or pvr stalker.

so from your other post its shows its a iks66 donation
so your setting should be

server
http://66.iptv66.tv
mac as u registered
delete the time zone,some say yes,some say no.i always delete(leave it blank).
