Whats the difference beetween Avov and

I'm considering purchasing a 2nd box. I see avov and mag a lot on this forum. Are they not on Android kodi platform? Are they subscription based? I'm just wondering why there so popular with outdated hardware. Thanks guys for your help.

avov runs kodi and iptv the mag i think its the mag 260 that will do both i maybe wrong on number my i luv my avov 2 its fast and 1080p runs smooth
