my thoughts so far

I have been using the iptv server for just over a week now, and I'd like to give my thoughts on it.

I think the server is pretty good, but still has some ways to go. On my mag250 some channels freeze, and some work perfectly. Channels like the science channel freeze, but others like tbs, and all the HBO channels work flawlessly.

The vod movies don't work for me, but the ppv ones do.

Channel quality ranges from almost HD, to pretty bad. But is all watchable.

I would like to see the epg start fully populating on the mag250. But at least it works fo some channels.

I took off my glasses now I see that every single channel in the list is working perfect with HD quality..........or am I blind.........

Your welcome K00lKatT...normally I am a very positive person.......Yet I think it is true that what we have seen with the service....there is room for criticism ...i still believe that Rocket --and NFPS have to control the sources of it's channels....to stand a chance of making it a very good paid service.........and I think it is disingenuous of those who like to respond by saying......"well if you don't like it ..get a sub'

I'm not trying to say the service is perfect. But it's a new service, and a low price. So I see nothing to complain about.

All the UK channels work good (and play a lot of the same shows as the us ones) and a lot of the us ones work great to, tbs works great, discovery works good for me, all the HBO channels are good, same with most of the us news channels. I've also had good experences with the Canadian news channels.

Some channels like the science channel and spike freeze, but most of what I watch is good.

The channels that play just tv shows are good to, like the simpsons channel, and the two and a half men channels. All good with HD quality, and the shows start at the begining rwhen you start watching it.

I have not many complaints about it, epg needs to be fixed, and vod also.


But it's a new service, and I am fully confident it will get better
