advancing movie scenes with Mag 254

I have Mag 254 which has double arrow keys for supposedly fast forwarding to next scenes when watching movies or tv series.
When desiring to go to next scenes and pressing key(s) nothing happens.

Is there presently a way of advancing to next scenes?

I believe this is one of the features that must be enabled by the provider (NFPS/Rocket) just like the recording feature.
