From application, hover and click with mouse over top right corner for Settings menu, Select Profiles, click IPTV STB, and modify MAC-address.
Must start with 00:1A:78 and linked to your donation.

Check it again, and make sure you don't have any spaces. It comes pre-configured with 00:1A:78 and some other numbers, just have to change the last six.

Since this is an "official" version, the developer may have coded that 79 is no longer a valid address for the application.

Check to see if you properly entered your MAC. When it doesn't load, the server doesn't recognize the mac you entered as linked.

Where do you enter your mac? On the app itself or are you referring to the Papiao website? If it's the app, that screenshot is as far as the app goes for me.

Yep. I'm guessing the mac should be set on the Papiao website and no configuration is required on the app itself as it reads your device's mac?

Fire tv is runed by amazon's fire os has about 30% of android baked in that is why that app is not fully functional.

Thanks big dady, that thread was very helpful. I've got one issue though. The mac address I am using is in the format: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. When I enter my mac it says "Invalid MAC address format!". I'm guessing that it requires me to enter in the 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX format? Does this necessitate me going into the papiao website and changing my mac so that it is in the 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX format?

I have an android tv box and the app picks up my mac address correctly and with the "78" in it but I just get a spinning bar...no channels load up. I can get to settings once I hover over where the three dots should be then they appear. My mac is registered properly and it works in Kodi okay. Any suggestions?

Check the MAC you entered in the emultor. If you didn't do this correctly, you will not load channels.

the emulator picks it up automatically and it is correct....and it has the "78"....what's the best way to make sure I have a real donation from the reseller I bought it from? When I use the mac address checker it does say that it is in use...can I be sure it is in use for me and has not been stolen?

You could reset the MAC to all zeros by clearing the entry and click submit. It should update correctly, then reenter the checker and re-enter your old mac and submit. If it says "MAC already exists" then someone is using it.

sorry to sound dumb but reset the MAC where?... in the emulator when I try to change the mac say to "79" it comes back right away saying it's not valid and changes it to 78. Even in Kodi with the IPTVStalker addon and the PVR client using the "78" does not work... I have to use 79 in Kodi 15 Isengard...does this make sense?

I downloaded the android stb emulator for my fire tv as a sideloaded app, when I open it it just stays stuck in the blue screen with the horizontal progress bar and nothing else. Yes I have a paid donation which works fine on other devices. I was able to get to the settings menu but then it stops responding, I guess ur needs to be paid with a bluetooth keyboard to work. I'll try ams text it out.

You'll probably need a new MAC. If you are running version 1.2.0 of IPTV Stalker, or have 'Send Serial Number ' on, or configured the PVR Stalker with anything but your MAC, you may have corrupted the MAC.

That's correct. Make sure you stick to what the tutorials say, and ensure you have the support 1.0.18 for IPTV Stalker. Go into your donation checker, and change a digit or two of the last six of your mac, starting with 00:1A:78 like it says in the checker, and use that one in Kodi and the official emu.

I did and it seemed to not work and then after a few reboots and some changes to the PLAYER selection it finally did work, the one thing I seem to notice is that quite a few of the channels go black for a while and then eventually start working again only to go black again.

So is there any buyers beware with this STB application ?

I installed iptv on jodi and it works fine. U then installed official emu 0.612 and changed the MAC to the same one I have on Kodi and registered to my donations, but it says "Please contact your provider to register this device."

What is wring I am doing and how to fix that?

That's the fix! Look for the modified IPTV Stalker I posted as well that prevents the serial number from getting sent inadvertently.

This file is a .zip, so you would "Install from zip" in Kodi. Once installed, click on default to clear the send serial number, but this modification also will stop a serial number to be sent from an exterior source. Before configuring, link a new MAC on the donation checker, as it has an unknown serial number associated with the current mac, then configure the installed 9.0.18 IPTV Stalker with your new MAC if you wish to use this in the future. Change the MAC you have associated with the Official Emulator, and you should be able to connect there as well.

I have the 6.12 version and it works fine and actually feels a little more stable than the Kodi Addons but the 6.13 is like a step backwards, I get back video page setup, no matter which Resolution I set I get a large white band around the image or the picture looks like it was set to 800x640 like the good old days.

Update to 0.6.14, I've fixed that bug in this version.

The issue seems that it is not taking the key strokes from the keyboard to type in the password or anything else. I have tried it in 3 devices and nothing.. Fire TV, Nvidia Shield TV and MK908.. Leads me to believe its the emulator. Version 6.13

I have tried with the keyboard supplied by the emulator itself, the keyboard that pops up when i press the password field, the keyboard on the mouse app that i have... Nothing.. On all the devices.

The Nvidia Shield TV keyboard does work. I had not troubleshoot it hard enough. What i am having issues is with the Fire TV and Fire TV stick to get the keyboard to work. I have tried bluetooth keyboards, keyboard apps on the iphone.. The keyboard on the emulator. Nothing.. Also in the MK908 doesnt work either.. Has to be a compability issue somewhere.
