The steps to setup IPTV Stalker on an android based Kodi installation

The steps to setup IPTV Stalker on an android based Kodi installation are outlined in in this document. The steps can be broken up into 2 separate tasks.


Obtaining a subscription from papiao.is
Setting up IPTV Stalker to work with your subscription


Obtaining a subscription:
You obtain a subscription from papiao.is by donating $80.00. The word donation is used for legal reasons. If you don't make a donation by 10/15/2015 the entry level for a donation will be $105.00. If you purchase one donation then you may use that donation on multiple devices; however you will not be able to use more than one of those devices at the same time.

Wait for your confirmation email to come in (this can take up to 24 hours)


Setting up IPTV Stalker to work with your subscription:

When setting up your subscription to work with IPTV Stalker it is important that you follow all steps outlined in this tutorial exactly as they've been written. You must capitalize all letters that are capitalized. You must add proper punctuation. If you do not, then your setup will not work.

Part 1: Get your MAC Address, this is a serial number of sorts that you're going to use to tie your device to your subscription.



Turn on your android device and open KODI.
From the main menu go to SYSTEM>System info
Select the Network tab
Write down the last 6 characters of your MAC address (Example: If my MAC address was "5B:C8:91:04:E6:76" then I would write down 04:E6:76)



Part 2: Link your MAC Address to your donation.



In the confirmation email that you received, click on the Add MAC Address link
Use the number given in the "Username and Password" field on the email to search for your donation.
From the Donation details page, click the Change IPTV MAC Address button.
In the text field provided enter 00:1A:78: followed by the last six characters of your MAC address. Include the colons. WRITE THIS DOWN; YOU WILL NEED IT LATER. (Example: If I were to use the MAC address I provided above then I would enter 00:1A:78:04:E6:76)
Click the Submit button (TIP: You can confirm the MAC address was submitted properly by going to the following link: https://papiao.is/main/search_mac/en)



Part 3: Configure IPTV Stalker



Restart your android device and open KODI
From the main menu goto SYSTEM>Settings
Click on Add-ons
Click on Enabled Add-ons
Click on Video Add-ons
Click on IPTV Stalker
Click on Configure
Make sure the settings on Portal 1 are configured as Follows and click the OK button.
Name: NFPS
Url: http://portal.iptvprivateserver.tv
Custom Mac Address: this must be enabled, the blue circle should be filled
Mac: this needs to be set to the mac address you submitted. In my example I would enter 00:1A:78:04:E6:76, but yours will be unique.

Part 4: Test IPTV Stalker



Restart your android device and open KODI
From the main menu, go to PROGRAMS>MAINTENANCE TOOL (if prompted, click continue)
Click on GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Click on CLEAR CACHE
Go back to the main menu
From the main menu, go to VIDEOS>Add-ons
Click on IPTV Stalker
Click and hold the button on NFPS for 3 seconds, this should bring up a menu
Click on the option to Clear Cache
After the cache is cleared, Click on NFPS
Test some channels

The majority of the tutorials in this forum is confusing, hence the amount of questions being repeatedly asked. I'm thinking of doing one for the Stalker PVR Client soon. This worked great for me, I did get a problem with authorisation failed after using ivue guide (I edited the mac into its addons.ini) and then returning to iptvstalker.... but I resolved that by changing the mac address. so long as I keep away from ivue atm it will be fine :)

I didn't say that. That site is the official donation portal for NFPS. You actually have 3 options that are supported here.

I don't see how you got that he said that the site is dodgy as you put it. As for you just notice stalker gone paid tells me me your not ready to be a re-seller. You should do more research on what you will be offering before you start selling something

@kingkong1, please don't get offended. Like I said in my previous post, this site does not "support" the reseller program. The problem is that ever so often, a reseller will come into the forums and "demand" help. If that reseller hasn't done the basic research and understanding of what he's dealing with, maybe they shouldn't be selling it. Also, we really don't have time to help everyone, and if you are representing that product, you really should be supporting it as well, and not dumping your customers on the staff here. I don't know if a user is a reseller or a customer of reseller, unless they say so, and that generally gets a negative reaction.

Your MAC does not change. Which address are you talking about, where did you see it change?

It's not supposed to work... its a glitch. You are not required to send serial number... it may screw up other methods to connect to the server.

That is because you had it checked and the server has it recorded. If you never select it you have better chances of connecting another method of connecting to the stalker middleware without having to change your MAC. If it is checked and you try to connect with the Android STB emulator it will not work unless you change your MAC.

I'm using the PVR Stalker Client. Works great with the Guide. Much better than iVue in my opinion. I only have 1 problem that seems to be all channels. Every 10 seconds or so the audio stutters/hiccups. Annoying. Anyone have a recommendation for a fix?

Have you up grade to kodi 15.1 yet? It had same problem on android but that fix it

If you click and hold NFPS then you should get a menu. What kind of device are you using to navigate? Are you using a mouse, remote control, etc?

COMBO, I'm not sure if you've figured this out yet, but you can use any mac address with any device. I only wrote the tutorial this way because it was easier to tell people what to do then teach how or why it is working. There are ways to get both of your devices working. Just let me know if you haven't figured it out yet.

Well there's the problem - don't use one from youtube.

In the 'MAC address prefix' field type 00:1A:78
In the 'MAC address format' field click the dropdown arrow & choose the second option (the one with the colons : )
Click 'Generate MAC Address'
Then look at 'Generated MAC Address' & you should see one on the form of 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX
Use that as your MAC address when linking to your route/donation. If you get an error just change a digit or two until it's accepted.

I will tell you what the quality is, if you plan on watching during daytime hours its all good, but if you plan on watching say from 6 to 10 CST, or weekends forget it. I have 10 mps internet and dont have no problems with connnection. Times i give you ever channel freezes and buffers. Forget about them answering you on their email if you have a question. When my donation is up i wont be donating no more for stuff that dont work during prime time viewing.

No-one can guarantee you anything. People have different experiences of the quality. There are various conspiracy theories floating about the forum as regards buffering issues & why some experience buffering & why some don't.

Personally I don't experience much buffering at all. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones, maybe it's down to my broadband connection, maybe it's down to my set-up, maybe it's down to my location, but all I know is that I don't experience buffering to any great degree. On occasions I do experience channel freeze on a few channels, but all in all I'm pleased with what I have & certainly I can say that compared to an awful lot of the other addons that don't require a donation & believe me I've tried dozens of them over the years, it's well worth paying for a donation. That's my opinion, others will have a different one.

The only real way of finding out if this is for you is by actually donating & experiencing it for yourself. IKS66 allow to you make a donation for a month, which is plenty of time to find out & if you're happy you can decide to continue monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or yearly with them or take the plunge & donate to Rocket or NFPS for a year.

have dreamlink t6 with kodi. have nfps donation . linked don and mac. when clicking on nfps for 3 seconds, there bunch of channels that appear. im not getting the menu that others are saying should appear. Anyway, when I click on a channel, it comes in, but freeze a whole lot. no movies. kodi version is 14 helix. I realize many are upgrading to 15 but I read that by upgrading, might loose iks capabalities on dreamlink. ideas, thoughts, suggestions?
