I've read a myriad of different posts and tutorials trying to figure this out.

I have an MK808B Plus. It's a small android device. I have KODI installed on it. I've installed IPTV Stalker from super-repo. I made my donation of 80.00; and I'm able to access my donation from the papiao.is website.

I have located the MAC address on my device, and for the sake of helping me troubleshoot let's just say my mac address is F3:D6:A1:B4:31:C2. So, I log onto the site, and it won't let me change the IP to F3:D6:A1:B4:31:C2, but it will allow me to change it to 00:A1:79:B4:31:C2.

In KODI, I adjust the MAC address of the IPTV Stalker add-on to 00:A1:79:B4:31:C2 and configured the Portal 1 URL to http://11.iptvprivateserver.tv; however when I attempt to access the add-on I get a 404 error.

I'm so confused. I just want my 80.00 worth. Any hints or tips would be greatly appriciated.

for the iptv stalker, the url should be

http://portal.iptvprivateserver.tv

You only use the last 6 of your Mac when you link it to your donation. 00:1a:79 should be the first 6.

Please review the tutorial again. For Kodi, the MAC address must start with "00:1A:78" (this was changed this morning) and the portal url for NFPS remains the default: http:// portal.iptvprivateserver.tv

Ok, I've adjusted the mac so that the first 6 characters are 00:1A:79 and the last 6 are equal the the last six characters of my mac address. I've set the portal to the default portal: http://portal.iptvprivateserver.tv. I've restarted kodi, now I'm getting this ITV Authorization Failed message.

*UPDATE, I just noticed that you were telling me to use 78 in the post above. One moment.

*UPDATE, so I updated both the MAC address on papiao.is and my kodi iptvstalker to 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX; rebooted. I'm Still receiving an ITV Authorization Failed. If I check the papiao.is site it tells me that the mac address I'm using is active and ready for use. BTW, just re-read your tutorial. Your tutorial says to use a 9.

I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but I'm trying to learn how to set one of these things up because I'm trying to sell the service. If I can't even get one of these things to work it's going to be difficult to make sales. :(

Can you check the version number of IPTV Stalker? Metalkettle repo has it again, but its not the original. I know about the tutorial issue and will fix it when I get Moderator rights for the Kodi section.

If you have a version 1.2.0 ... that may be the suspect.

Ok, that's fine, but I'm reading a lot of forum posts on here where people just respond to the post by saying, "READ THE TUT! OMG!!!", if the tutorial is not up to date then these poor people are just tossing 80.00 out the window.
Also, if certain versions of the software don't work that should be mentioned in the tutorial as well.
I do have version 1.2.0. What version of the software do I need?

Turn off auto updates or remove Metalkettles repo. The version that works is 1.0.18 from the github.

Downloaded version 1.0.18, same error message. I really don't think this is an issue with the version of the software. I tried CAPS in MAC address. Tried lowercase in MAC address. Tried restarting the software in between attempts.

Irish, I've done this. I can even confirm that the mac I'm using is active on the papiao.is website using the tools they've provided.

Had the same problem with the ITV Authorization Failed message, resolved this by reassociating my MAC with my donation and clearing the cache in kodi, Programs, maintenance tool, General Maintenance, Clear Cache.

I don't know why, but some have had success in modifying their MAC by a digit, relinking, then reattempting to get it to work. It's not an excuse, but things happen that can't be explained. It also could be something in Kodi, especially on a 'dirty' install.

I'll give the cache clearing a shot. I'll respond when I get a chance to do all this other stuff.

This seems to have worked. I'm going to draft up my own tutorial. If anyone would like a copy, just send me a private message.

The steps to setup IPTV Stalker on an android based Kodi installation are outlined in in this document. The steps can be broken up into 2 separate tasks.

Obtaining a subscription from papiao.is
Setting up IPTV Stalker to work with your subscription

Obtaining a subscription:
You obtain a subscription from papiao.is by donating $80.00. The word donation is used for legal reasons. If you don't make a donation by 10/15/2015 the entry level for a donation will be $105.00. If you purchase one donation then you may use that donation on multiple devices; however you will not be able to use more than one of those devices at the same time.

Purchase a donation from: http://iptvprivateserver.is/
Wait for your confirmation email to come in (this can take up to 24 hours)

Setting up IPTV Stalker to work with your subscription:

When setting up your subscription to work with IPTV Stalker it is important that you follow all steps outlined in this tutorial exactly as they've been written. You must capitalize all letters that are capitalized. You must add proper punctuation. If you do not, then your setup will not work.

Part 1: Get your MAC Address, this is a serial number of sorts that you're going to use to tie your device to your subscription.

Turn on your android device and open KODI.
From the main menu go to SYSTEM>System info
Select the Network tab
Write down the last 6 characters of your MAC address (Example: If my MAC address was "5B:C8:91:04:E6:76" then I would write down 04:E6:76)

Part 2: Link your MAC Address to your donation.

In the confirmation email that you received, click on the Add MAC Address link
Use the number given in the "Username and Password" field on the email to search for your donation.
From the Donation details page, click the Change IPTV MAC Address button.
In the text field provided enter 00:1A:78: followed by the last six characters of your MAC address. Include the colons. WRITE THIS DOWN; YOU WILL NEED IT LATER. (Example: If I were to use the MAC address I provided above then I would enter 00:1A:78:04:E6:76)
Click the Submit button (TIP: You can confirm the MAC address was submitted properly by going to the following link: https://papiao.is/main/search_mac/en)

Part 3: Configure IPTV Stalker

Restart your android device and open KODI
From the main menu goto SYSTEM>Settings
Click on Add-ons
Click on Enabled Add-ons
Click on Video Add-ons
Click on IPTV Stalker
Click on Configure
Make sure the settings on Portal 1 are configured as Follows and click the OK button.
Name: NFPS
Url: http://portal.iptvprivateserver.tv
Custom Mac Address: this must be enabled, the blue circle should be filled
Mac: this needs to be set to the mac address you submitted. In my example I would enter 00:1A:78:04:E6:76, but yours will be unique.

Part 4: Test IPTV Stalker

Restart your android device and open KODI
From the main menu, go to PROGRAMS>MAINTENANCE TOOL (if prompted, click continue)
Click on GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Click on CLEAR CACHE
Go back to the main menu
From the main menu, go to VIDEOS>Add-ons
Click on IPTV Stalker
Click and hold the button on NFPS for 3 seconds, this should bring up a menu
Click on the option to Clear Cache
After the cache is cleared, Click on NFPS
Test some channels

I was planning to do that! I'll make sure there isn't possible problems in it, but I want to make sure that uronacid gets the proper due credit for it in his own thread.
