View Full Version : what i think of the service

IPTV is still very in the early stage on the internet and it is still very bugy, that is why I believe it should remain free unless the service is stable like uninterruption signals and a EPG TV guide that supports all the channels (ivue is good but doesnt list all the channels where you can customize it easily). Why pay for something that lags, freeze or dead links. The donation price seems very high, I can easily pay my cable provider much cheaper for something that works better and in High Definition. Usually during testing development, the service would remain free, you should open the donation for those who wish to contribute to support the app.

I find the service to be very stable the last few days also with much better vid quality and many improvements. I don't know exactly what your prob is but no one is forcing you to use this service or any other. I think the time for free service is over and applaud that decision, you have had the trial for many months and if the reasonable cost of it now upsets you I suggest you move on, thks..

For what it costs for cable or satellite, this service is cheap, if it has a few glitches from time to time, doesnt bother me at all

7-8 $ a month you will not find, with paid rights for end-user price can not be below 20 cents per channel.

Sounds like iptv isn't for you. By all means, pay for what you feel is the best deal for you.Cable may be better suited for your needs.
Have a good day...

here I though it was very good you ask people that are old and love to see channels from their country ,and they will tell you they love iptv, specially when where you live there is no access to them,I for one I am happy for it and love what is doing and it should get better

they don't have all the channels in my country, so this is just isnt for me just yet. Some of the channels I already get it free from other apps. P.S. I know its cheap and its a good deal, but until they work out the bugs, for me, it should remain free. Who knows how long they can keep it up and running.

I agree that the service is cheap,.... But are they compensating the channel providers that are running the feeds? Or are they getting them for free?

well apart from the odd channel being off even though their not in my playlist of channels to watch the stability and over running of the service has gone up in my eyes to 98+% uninterupted and all started when open point from ivue and also them thousands of jumpers via the released mac. now if i see a channel playing up i know its an issue all members will be seeing, it makes it alot beter to report the issues in the forum. just shows how much the freeloaders were eating up the servers. its great to watch a program and not have it pause or stop/start so far through

dedicated servers with huge bandwidth/speed + programs, apps, tools all required to maintain channels all get paid for from some point in time never to the service providers thats 1 payment made by the person before they re-stream to a private service. but its fantastic to know through it all theres still members with a conscience, but here in the uk we pay a tv licence to watch tv then we pay a sub to watch other tv the same is being viewed around europe mostly for free to air but its our premium channels. so when it comes to a service i like my conscience is clear in the knowledge ive more than paid for what i watch

As soon as these people that were getting it for free, think about what is there, they will jump on board. A lot are on living assisted and have to wait until their hard earned money comes in. I thought about it a long time ago and got on board.
