Hello, I have a question about the activation for KODI. I made up a MAC address as instructed. I understand that one account may only be used in a device at a time, but what happens if I upgrade or change devices? Can the MAC address be associated to my laptop and desktop as long as I don't use the devices at the same time? Or if I upgrade, how do I go about deactivating the MAC in one device and activating it in a new device? Thanks.
The MAC is virtual for all except the MAG and Avov devices, so you can use the same MAC on your devices as long as you aren't using them simultaneously. The MAC must start with 00:1A:79, and the last six must be hexidecimal, and linked to a valid donation/rocket.

It is not working that way here now. All I get is Authorization Failed, no matter if I use 78 or 79.

I had a problem on my stb emulator earlier, I was was getting the message, "please contact your provider to register this device" I fixed this by changing the MAC to the 78 prefix and all was good untill a bit later when I turned the box downstairs off and went upstairs and watched via stalker on kodi, I finished watching a movie then turned off and went back to watch on my stb emulator downstairs and it's giving the same message again. I never had both boxes on together so it would seem that you can't use the same MAC addy on stb and Kodi stalker

unlink that mac and link it again and then open the emu and it will work

I had IPTV stalker working for all of yesterday and it died first thing this morning. I checked the entries and I still have the 78 version of my MAC entered. I think the system admin changed something again.
Fixed - I just learned that you must click the option to send the serial number on the NFPS configuration page in teh stalker app. I think this was caused when I went to 0.1.2 and back to 0.1.18 by the unwanted update. Anyway Send Serial Number if you cannot get anywhere on the Authorization Failed problem and you are convinced everything else is correct.
