updated firmware and now black screen

just got my new 254, udpadted the firmware to r11, it boots up in red infomir screen, and I get a screen saying "Output mode mismatch.please change device video output mode to sd or use HDMI output"
I tried using an HDMI but nothing changes.
Nome of the buttons on the remote work, I can not get to the settings to change the output, just have a black screen.
Any idea on how to get to the settings? Thanks.

unplug mag 254 hold menu button on remote plug mag back in still holding menu enter bios change video setting to auto exit save
