Newbie setup - but no channels clearing

Hi I just bought mag 254 yesterday

Paid donation today got all details

Followed youtube video and this step by step guide http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?5987-Where-to-buy-and-what-to-do-once-you-do-it-Look-here&p=47941#post47941

So I boot the device and its loading portal fine

all channels appear on the channel listing

I click any of the channels and not a single one opens

I just get the epg and black screen


I checked youtube on the mag 254 and it plays videos ok

Im sure its something basic but Im stumped

Yeah thats the guide I followed

The url I should be using in the portal is http://11.iptvprivateserver.tv or http://11.iptvprivateserver.is

The one in email is http://11.iptvprivateserver.tv but in tutorial is http://11.iptvprivateserver.is

When I put the http://11.iptvprivateserver.is in I get an error but the http://11.iptvprivateserver.tv doesn't clear any channels

make sure that you link your mac address to the donation, sometimes it takes a couple of reboots (disconnect power and connect again) use the URL that it states on your donation!!

Yeah mac address is linked

Rebooted everything in the house router box etc a few times still nothing

A cuppa and a walk is needed to clear the old head

The portal would have to have http:// at the beginning, wouldn't it, just trying to rule that out

The way that not a single channel is clearing makes me think its something obvious!!

Does it take 24 hours or something for me to come on the system before channels clear?

Go to account- Information . Does it show your mac and Account number?

It shows my mac address and an account number, the account number is there but how do I know its the correct one, I haven't received an account number

Try the backslash at the end of TV and see if that helps.

the account number is on the initial email you received, if it shows you should be good to go, Tariff plan also!!

Can't see account number in email but it is in account info along with tariff plan

It should be the last 6 digits of your user name and password!!

OK for the briefest a couple of seconds I got some sound from channel 995 music videos 23 but it stopped

Ok I never had to create a username or password

Where should i have got/created a username password

In the email I received

there's a box

no.username and password mac address
1 xxxxxxxxxxxx add mac address

So I copy the username and password -that's the donation number and I click add mac address and the donation number matches my mac address, but the last 6 digits of the number don't match the account information

you don't need a user ID or password for a mag 254 IPTV !!

Yeah espn - us is showing up on 140 but its blank screen

Ok the only one channel I can get working is channel 277 music videos 27

Its the only one that when I click ok I get a blue bar like loading the channel

Oh and channel 635 some turkish channel

If Im able to get 2 channels why not the rest?
