New MAG 250 user. Subscription has expired. What to do?

Hi, I am living in a foreign country and used this box to get channels at home and watch sports. I am wondering if there is a way to get free channels? If not, how can I pay for channels? It currently says 'STB is blocked. Please contact your provider'. What do I need to do? Do I change server somehow? My knowledge on this isn't great at the moment.
