Hi Folks

I got my mag 254 working last night. I was browsing around trying to learn the system and after about an hour: the sound went out. I have been thru the internal and external portals trying to check everything out. Have checked the mute buttons on both mag and tv. Have even tried a second tv just in case, and rebooted a couple of times. No luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or did this box just go bad?

Thanks
Eddie

Go into system settings in the inner portal , go in Audio, and see if the volume is at 100.
Also you could try switching hdmi cables or your rca cables to see if that helps.

you can also boot into BIOS menu to check your audio there, also..

Thank all of you for your response. It is much appreciated. I have posted 3 times for help here and been helped 3 times. Great group! I had already changed hdmi cords to no avail. Who would have known to enter into video to fix an audio problem per crooks comment. All was fixed in a couple of minutes. Too many drinks last night I guess.
Thanks to all again.
