Hello all. I've scoured the forums but no joy. I have just donated an hour ago.
Using stalker client 0.8.3 with Isengard 15. Modified settings.xml with timeout value set to 100.
When I start Kodi up, I see the "PVR Loading" at the top, then the Stalker error "Unable to Load Channels" comes in at the bottom.
Stalker settings:
MAC Address 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx - checked OK at website
Server Address 11.iptvrocket.tv
Time Zone Europe/Kiev

Everything looks right according to other threads but no joy.
Please help if able,
Glenn

Also check and make sure only pvr stalker is enable
GlennC
07-23-2015, 01:23 AM
Yep. Only Stalker Client is enabled under PVR Clients.
Try this. Look in your Database folder in your userdata, and look for TV*.db files when Kodi is shut down, and delete it. Start up Kodi and see if you get a load for the PVR Stalker. What you did there is to manually clear the PVR database... I'm not sure if it will work though.

This did not work either but thank you.
Is there a formal technical support that I may contact?

Not here directly. Since this add-on was mainlined into Kodi, you could ask your question over at Kodi.tv, just don't mention that you were using this particular or any other paid service. The initial developer, dvbken, is rarely here, but maybe a pm could wake him up.
If you have access to another similar device, and if it works there, copy the userdata for the PVR.Stalker directly. I think you might have already done this, but forcing a creation of new userdata might work, by deleting the PVR.Stalker userdata folder, then configure from fresh.

why not us the windows pc control panel to remove kodi (be sure and check mark to delete profile as well) and install the latest and greatest kodi 15, pvr stalker is included and the connection timeout issue is fixed. just enter your info and go. if you want to specify a guide do that later first see if you get tv.

I installed 15 over 14.2. Can anyone else confirm the same problem without going to a fresh install? I'd hate to start from scratch again. Thank you.
Glenn, what box are you using, and if android, are you rooted? Just want to understand where you are "at".

Windows 7 home professional with latest KODI release. TX
Thanks. I have 14.2 on my Windows 7 partition, and will check if I have issues on that when I do configure it after upgrading to 15.0. I'm not having any issues with Win 8.1 and the Kodi 15.0.

@dara
Do you suppose that my creating a MAC address with the link on this forum rather than using my true PC MAC address could cause this? My understanding was no.

It could be that the MAC you created maybe corrupted on the server. I'd suggest creating a different one, making sure that it still starts with 00:1a:79, and maybe going all lower case, because I know that one program does automatically that before sending your mac to the server.

Maybe try a clean installation?

I got the same issue! I am running the last Kodi on my Macbook pro. I paid my donation about 2 Hours ago. I have received the email with all the detail for make the connection but it does not work! I have checked my order status and it is activated. I linked the MAC address of my computer is that is right? or I have to link an address with this format 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx ?
Even though you have the same issue, you are hijacking someone else's thread. I suggest you start your own thread, thanks.

If the hijacking continues then I will have no choice but to close this thread down. You are taking away the posters help.

Before doing fresh install disable or even uninstall stalker then do a backup of your current setup so when you do the fresh install you can restore your setup.

Please make sure you have ":" between your numbers. It's a known issue if you don't , you'll not connect.

hi guys,
i found something really wierd with the configuration on the Stalker client.
I got the same issue for 2 3 days and after all my efforts I reinstalled everything from fresh. But this one didn't make the magic.
After reading and make a lot of tests....
I found that the Stalker client is jumping from the portal 2 to the portal 3 every time i reboot Kodi. So what i did i put my configuration in portal 3 and in the settings.xml I changed to portal 2 and the timeout to 60. And this works!!!!
the configuration i did on the portal 3 is the following:
mac 00 1A 79 xx xx xx
server 11. iptvrocket.tv/
preference. prefer provider( I didnt touch this section)
remote url. http://is.gd/NFPSF
I mean this is not a long term solution but it should be a workaround for now.
Probably somebody knows more than me to detect the real issue here
Hate to say it, but something is wrong Arturo. Try the upgrade to the 15.0 final release of Kodi, and let us know what happens then.

Yeap and i dont know what it's I have already the last version of kodi 15.0 lsengard and this version comes with the stalker client 0.8.3 under Windows 8.1.
Also I made the same changes in a MXIII Android and is working now fine with the last version of Kodi for Android 15.0 and the stalker client 0.8.0. so two different flavors and the successfully workaround..... Any thoughts? will be very welcome...

When you read it carefully, doesn't look like it. Perhaps your wording could be better.
Arturo, start your own thread, and I hope to be able to help there. I think the settings.xml is not correct.

A huge thank you to all that helped.
I put the info in all 5 portals in Stalker and tried them in sequence. It worked.
Again, thanks to the community and here's to a long relationship.
