New to IPTV, which box.

been reading a lot and watching a lot of youtube videos, have tested the free server for a few weeks and beyond impressed. now its time to make a donation to the hard work. I'm very familiar with the fire devices but been looking at the more dedicated boxes. mags and the new avov boxes.
For a first timer. Mag254 or the Avov Vixo 2? I like how the avov has the kodi option already there and other built in add ons. Anyone own a avov that can give their opinion? Would it be good setup for the iptv server?

Hi Nitty917 I have Both boxes the MAG is just TV and VOD don expect to much from it other than that. The VIXO2 By Avov is solid easy to setup you get a ton of app and you get KODI this is nice advantage to the MAG. The price you pay is well worth it. Of you just want the TV part go with the MAG if you want to do more Get the VIXO 2.

Best thing to do is to read the different forums on the boxes themselves. I know there are strong opinions there. Welcome.

.. get a banana pi from China... 30 pounds... runs android and everything..no problem. Why spend 100+ on so called tv boxes I don't know..
