No sound on Mac to 254

I have two donation one has great picture and sound of the other has great picture and no sound. I hooked it up to two different TV, and still nothing. I changed out the USB cables and that didn't help. I am beginning to think it is in the box, has anybody else run into this situation? The next question is if the box is gone and I buy a new box can the Mac members be transferred to my donation and the other numbers deleted?

Talking about sound, how did the USB get connected. Did you mean HDMI? You may have a cheap crappy connection. You can also try to SPDIF.

Go to settings :video : Press f1 :hdmi/dvi enter hdmi than reboot
