Missed up on portals...

Need help to get back to #1 portal...tried to install #2 portal must made mistakes and now it will not load at all...So I have the Infomir screen goes to loading then loading portal for a split second then black screen..how to get back to portal one and be back to normal is the help I need..

here's something kinda related... read it over. I found that in an old thread. I am still looking at other threads harley.. I will see what I can find else :)


How to add/change a portal:

The easiest way is to start from the beginning.

1: turn off your box and then turn it back on.

2: when you get to the "Loading" image, press your "set/setup" button on your remote. This will bring you to the "inner portal".

3: press your "set/setup" button again. The go to "Servers".

4: change "portal URL 1" to the new portal by pressing the "KB" button and typing the address you were given.

5: press the "KB" button again and press ok, then you will be returned to the previous screen.

6: go to "reload portal" and press ok when prompted.

That's is.

When your mag250/254 reboots it should load the portal. Any errors then check your spelling



Try the mome/return button then arrow if still black and no reboot available unplug for a few sec then plug back in.



When you power the box up hold the button that has three dots and three lines. A list will come up, click on factory reset.

Sorry for the late reply..but this eve. was the only time I had to get this issue taking care of...AND!!!!
So happy to report that this was the ticket at first try WOW!!! I'm back
