A Server Settings shortcut will be seen on the L1's Home screen.
Upon the first time you open this Server Settings you will only see a ADD SERVER option and nothing else. Open that and then you'll see a screen showing the 3 connection types. Once you add a server connection, then that Server Settings opening screen will then also show that connection, active or not, it will show there.

There will be 3 connection options shown here.
1. MAC Server
2. XC API Login
3. M3U

1. MAC Server
For the MAC Server connection method, you would attach the Buzz Lite's app MAC to your papiao/iptv66 code when logged in at the papiao website.
This is not the device's MAC, it's the iptv app's Mac, which is the Buzz Lite app.
So log onto your code at the server's website and attach that MAC to your donation code.

With the L1 device, while in the Server Settings option and with the MAC connection option open, the MAC address is seen as Server ID #
It would begin with the first 6 digits --> 00:1a:79: followed by 6 other digits which are unique to that device and no other.

Next we can name this connection. That name you give it is for your own personal use and has nothing to do with connecting the device, so name it anything you want.

Next line is the Server URL which is the server Portal URL that you would have received from the papiao/iptv66 service.
Make sure to add the http:// or https:// as required.

Next line is the MAC Server ID, which we already mentioned.

In this setup menu, there is also a LOGIN REQUIRED option. This is to add your credentials into this setup. The credentials are your username and password, which is the 12 or 13 digit donation code. Turn this OFF, we don't need to add the credentials in this setup.

The next thing to do is to Save this. Or you can go straight to Connect and that will connect and also save the setup. I like to Save first though in case something goes wrong from the time you clicked that Connect option and to the time TV channels appear, like a power outage or some crazy thing like that. But Connect will also Save, as long as it did in fact connect (if it didn't connect for some reason like a typo or a mistake in the information entered then the info you entered would not be saved), so do your thing any way you choose:)

Use the Home button on your RCU to return to the Home screen at any time.

2. XC API Login
With a XC API login connection, you will first need to remove the MAC from your donation at the papiao website.
Then in the XC API slot, enter the the Name you give it or leave it with the name that currently shows.
Then enter the Server URL and your username/password. Yes, we need the credentials added with this method.
Then down below is an option to use the Server EPG or an XML EPG.
With the option highlited, scroll right or left to set either Server or XML EPG
If you choose Server EPG then that's all you need to do.
Next is to Save and Connect.

If you use the XML EPG option, then just below will be seen the XML option. Highlight that and the scroll right or left to choose 'Custom URL' .
This is where you'd enter a 3rd party source URL for a custom EPG
Next is to Save and Connect.

This is an advantage because it allows us to either use the Server's EPG or a custom created EPG.
The next connection method (#3 M3U) also has the Custom EPG, but does not have provision for the Server EPG. However, we can use the Server's EPG thru their EPG URL, as explained below.

Our good friend acidjezus has created an XML epg for us, which would be the 'Custom URL' , as described in the setup menu.
If you choose that option, just ask us where to find Acid's EPG URL and we'll direct you to it, or browse the site here, you may find it :)

Use the Home button on your RCU to return to the Home screen at any time.

3. M3U Playlist
Next is the M3U option.
If there is a MAC attached to your papiao code, log on to your code at the papiao website and remove the MAC
Then in the M3U Playlist slot we would enter the name you give it and then the Server's Playlist URL
This is not the Server Portal URL, as used in the MAC Server setup. This would be the m3u Playlist URL that is needed. that URL can be found at your login at the papiao website. Remove the MAC (if one is attached) and a window will appear with selections. Choose Generic M3U w/options (or it might say PLUS). then a URL address will appear. Copy that address and use it in the Playlist URL line in the L1's setup.
This setup will also have the XML EPG option, actually that is the only option as the Server EPG URL is not an option as a default option, however the papiao service does have an EPG URL that can be used in place of the Custom EPG URL.

This server URL and Acid's URLs can be found here at iptvTalk, or just ask and we'll direct you to them.

*Remember, when using the M3U Playlist or XC API connection methods and if a MAC is attached to your code at the papiao website login, it must first be removed.

With any of these 3 connection methods we can create multiple Server slots. As an example we could create an m3u Playlist connection with Acid's EPG and another m3u Playlist connection slot with the server's EPG.
Then if one EPG seems to be lacking, simply switch to the other server slot you have previously setup... easy peasy :)
This can be done with any of the 3 methods, create as many slots as you want or need.
