I been locked out of my wallet since last spring when the Exchange I was using stopped transactions with Canadian clients (I had mentioned this before).
My Wallet was from their platform too so it was also closed. But it was a custodial Wallet and I hold the keys so the contents were safe. But I haven't been able to create a new wallet elsewhere, not one that would work on desktop and also would allow to import my old wallet, I have the recovery phrase and ID and everything but just could not find the combination of a DeskTop Wallet that allows importing. Lots for androids, just not Desk Top.

So I emailed the original Exchange that locked me out to begin with, and they are fixing me up. They told me my current BTC balance that shows in my Wallet, which I never told them my wallet but i guess on their platform they can se it anyway, but they can't do anything with it.
Anyway, I got a new wallet now on my Desk Top and the original Exchange Platform are gonna send me my BTC to this new wallet. I
they asked for the wallet address.
So looks like I will have access to my BTC again.
last time I checked it one bitcoin was worth approx $48,000 USD and now that same one bitcoin is hovering at the $100,000 mark. So I have made a little bit of money since last spring :)
Maybe just under 200 bux USD I made.
I never had alot of BTC in there to begin with, maybe 1/1000 of one bitcoin, which was just over $100 USD, and now maybe just under $300 USD
