No Audio Issue on MAG25X

Our team have identified the problem with many US channels not presenting audio in the MAG250 / MAG254 boxes, unfortunately those boxes doesn't support the upgraded audio quality implemented by our source and we are working to solve that compatibility issue ASAP.

In case you are exploring the possibilities to upgrade your box we highly recommend you to check the offerings from Buzz TV, Formuler or Dreamlink instead of choosing anything from infomir. Those other options are more future proof than any offering from infomir.

We have conducted a lot of tests and found that MAG254 running the following firmware are able to play audio without problem but most of the other firmware versions don't:

Image / Firmware version: 0.2.18-r23-pub-254

It is clearly a problem with the box software and you can try to install a new version and see if that works.

We keep looking for a solution that mitigates or eliminates the problem from our end but it is not clear when it will be solved.
