No Guide for me

Is anyone having a problem with no EPG guide when getting on to kodi ?? All 5 of my donations have not been working for the past 3 days. They were all working for years and now no "EPG program guide". The channels come in fine. Just no guide ?:confused:Thanks andkaal:rolleyes:

could be acid is working on it maybe. I lost acid's guide awhile ago but that had to do with my STB ... so I cant test it for you bud :(

so I hooked up another STB which works with Acid's guide (thru m3u connection method) and I immediately got an on screen message saying that the XML EPG could not load
Srever's guide loads thou thru XC API connection method on the same STB

I have been down for 2 days on KODI as well...
I sent a message to AciD, but I don't think he can do anything,,,
Just have to wait till it gets resolved ..

yous could use the server's EPG but only till acid's is back on for you.
Acid's is always a better EPG but it's always nice to have options.

Devices will allow more then one server to be added. One with acid's EPG and one with Server's EPG, then switch between at will.
Don't know how that works thru Kodi apps thou :eek:


For the Server's URL, use the one shown below but change the server portal to the one you use and the X's with your credentials (username/password).

I had no guide on my buzztv today. so I went to server settings and changed from xml epg to server epg then hit clear epg and all load fine. :)

I think theres nothing wrong on acid side. looks like papiao changed from tvg_id to tvg-id is causing issue. I maybe wrong but that is what im seeing difference this time. so people with hard copy should do like last time Remove - from tvg-id to tvg id and it might work. im not front of it to test for couple days but if someone got chance to test with hard copy let us know.

I haven’t used kodi for IPTV in awhile. But in the settings there is a spot to clear guide data. Not sure if it will help but it is there

I dont use kodi bud. I use buzz boxes only bro as they are the best and easy to setup. but I do have epg from server using buzz. unable to test modified hard copy as I dont have direct access to boxes for few days but I did compare my last modified copy vs new copy and thats the only thing I see difference but this may not work this time as it could be papiao side or acid.

So I was able to test this.
On a hardcopy I changed tvg-id to tvg_id ... but it doesn't seem to make a difference. No acid epg

I will double check my findings but does not look like this will work :(

when we modified last time acid did not change anything that time. not sure if he adjust anything after but im not seeing anything difference from his url data like last time. but I did see difference on papiao side little change. so thats why im thinking it might be papiao side or both.

I don't know if papiao even knows we are having problems. It would have been cool if we could have found the reason as Ryu may have, then we could take that to papiao.

I created a new m3u slot and used the server's EPG URL (shown below) and the server's EPG working (with no changes to the EPG data).
So then I loaded the m3u playlist with the data change as Ryu outlined, except I used the underscore still because that's the file I had onboard. The EPG is also working with this edited copy (with the data change).

So that change of data may not mean anything, or not :eek:

And, the X5 is capable of showing the EPG thru m3u hardcopy, so we know that works on the X5 side.

Sorry to be so late to the party ;) and sorry for the inconvenience not having EPG might cause you.. ;) but I was away on vacation and there was some issues with the VPN on my side, kill switch went On and all connection to outside world was lost...sh*t happens once in a while :) but it should be all good now.

Did a fresh pull and push to git last night, seem's all good.

if your vpn has no internet without vpn and auto connect function then instead kill switch should setup no internet activity if no internet and setup auto connect vpn connection. :)
