BuzzTV - Favorites / new option added

This came in a recent update.
You can create Favorite groups from your Favorites menu.

Open LiveTV channels.
Press the OK button to bring up the side-bar EPG.
Press your Left Arrow button and then the Yellow button for Favorites menu..

LiveTV > OK > Left Arrow > Yellow

You can do this in VOD or TV Series selections as well.
I do not know yet at how many groups can be added.

To access these newly added fav channels which you have put into your new groups you've created...
Open LiveTV then the OK button to bring up that side-bar EPG again.
Press the Left Arrow button on RCU to bring up Categories List.
These Categories will be the original list of Groups which were supplied from the iptv service, but will also include your newly created Fav Groups.

Your newly created Groups will be shown at the top of the Category list and in order you have added them. What I have done even thou my new groups are seen at the top of the list, I have added a number 1. and 2. and 3. and etc, to the new group's title. That way I can spot the new Fav groups in an instant.

Example shown below at what my Category List looks like, (with the new Favs Groups shown including the number and originals not including the number.).
I have only added 3 new Groups so far.

Categories:
All channels
1. Sports
2. Entertainment
3. Discovery/Documentary
Pay Per View Movies
Pay Per View Sports
News & Business
Premium Cinema
and etc, etc...

Highlight one of your new groups and then them channels will appear listed to the right.
Use the Right Arrow button to access these channels (as long as you've highlighted a selection).

LiveTV > OK > Left Arrow > Highlight Fav Group > Right Arrow > scroll to desire channel

silly question ..
When we want to play a selection from a newly added Fav Group, how do we access these new favorite groups to do that ?

I have another question. On the Home Screen we can see our Favs, (the 'new groups' do not show up there thou).
But my question is about the function to turn the Favs on or off on Home Screen. I thought that was found in the Utilities menu but I don't see it in there anymore, if it ever was thou?

Went thru my buzz remotes and found one with a FAVS button. That works and brings up the new groups and can access the channels from there.


The remote that came with the X5 (bt-200, maybe) it does not have Category or Favs button.
I can get to the Favs menu thru left arrow click and etc, but can not click on any of the selections, they don't open from there.

I've tried every remote I have and I cam access the groups My ir 100 ,bt 100 200 and 250 all have category button My 400 gets to groups using left arrow

ohhh ohhh I see them 'new groups' now. They were staring me right in the face :eek:
I didn't expect to see them with the other categories (as per server categories).
But yea there they are. my groups I created and channels accessable.

Yup. I see them all now.
I told yea, I need tutorials :)

Gonna edit post#1 and add all this. I guess just the simple part concerning where to find them Groups :)

(simple for everyone else except me) :)

It must be something set in my permissions.

I have never changed any permissions for members, not ever :)

I wasn't implying that.But it's been like that since I joined and have been warned several times by a SM about being banned for posting live links.
I used to co-own several sat pirate sites so I think I know just a little about how to post and permissions.
I know it's not on my end.

This all started when tinie removed the 'Like' option and also did something to images. I remember being able to post images from my PC onto site but after whatever tinie did with that , I could no longer post images from my PC
I also remember now that I checked on things such as permissions but did not find anything out of place. Something thru tinie's admin access (which is different then mine) that I can not access is probably what this is due to.

For example their signature shows up as a URL not an image.
