TV Series
Better Things (2016 - 2022)
Pamela Adlon wrote, directed, and is also the main character in this Series.
Pamela's character (Sam) is a struggling actor and a single mom with 3 growing daughters.
the plot is not really about her acting career as much as its about her private live and her kids and her mother and her on and off boyfreind(s).
Pamela is the type of actor that can be funny without even knowing it. She does carry the show.
Her daughters are spoiled or whatever the word is for 'spoiled' kids these days.
Some of the topics can be controversial and we all may not agree with some of the topics, but the show overall is pretty good.
It got a bad start thou, because they fired the co-writer after the first season, and also fired a bunch of the editorial staff.
But after a long delay after season 1, they got back on track and filmed a total of 5 seasons.
Our papiao Series library has the 10 episodes from season one only.
Hopefully they will add to that so I can see how this all turns out
