remote and setup issues

just upgraded from my 3900's, cannot pair remote on 4900, says scanning, decided to take update then screen comes back on to pair , still will not pair

also i am in ontario canada , what is est time setup i see nothing for the zone

try to turn wifi on/off and bluetooth on/off and try again. also, take out batteries from remote and try again.

for time I would leave it automatic date and time (use network provided time)
or
set time zone to GMT-5:00 Eastern standard Time

You have to hold the OK and - Volume buttons down while it scans.When it finds remote it will appear at top right.Click on the device to pair.For time select New York.

The internal wifi is strong.
