What device are you using? what name did you use at the bottom to save the source at file manager?

You go system>File manager>add source (type in sources), done >scroll below to enter name for this media sources hit enter and type name (ex: fusion, xunity) hit done, scroll to OK hit enter/ok button.
Go to system>setting>addons>install from zip and look for file name and you can upload repos. once uploaded go to System>settings>addons>get addons>all addons and pick which addons you want.

You can always load repos into a zip file and use the zip file has a source since you dont have to type anything.

I was reading about this issue and some of the people that experience a blank keyboard is caused by a skin that is not compatible with Kodi. Their fix was to change to another skin.
