I know it's difficult with kodi, but how to do with vlc? where do I get the url I need to open for a particular channel?

download VLC and install onto Windows
Go to the server's website and log onto your code. Then remove the MAC that may be attached to your code (if there is one attached).
Then you will see a list of Playlist options.
Choice and click the 'Generic m3u with Options'
Then a URL will appear.
Copy that URL and paste it into the VLC in the 'Open Media' option.
Then click on it in the VLC Player and that is it.
Or you could also click on that URL when seen at the website and that will open the option to download the m3u Playlist onto a hard copy, which you can drag and drop onto that VLC Player.
Check the Sticky Threads in each of our server's sub-forums here at iptvtalk and you will see some instruction threads with this info posted.
Any questions, please do ask :)
and check the sub-forum linked below

from my point of view for pc the best option is duplex player, it is paid but it is great
Amigos, I use in Windows 10 PC Pot Player 64 bit (free). That is the program I use to test my M3U.

thnx antvar and Humk ... and always thnx to Ryu :)
I will be copying the Windows 7,8,10 PC Pot Player 64 bit (free) version into our Players sub-forum, with a review/info post added to Humk's posted info.
I already downloaded the Player onto my Laptop but so far all I had time for was to open it
I will be testing later tonight and adding to sub-forum.
