Mag 420

I contacted Papiao info and was referred here for technical support. I have a Mag 410 and two Mag 420's but have been unable to get them to work normally just using the server address with any provider. I was assured they will work on Rocket, if that is so how would I set them up? I currently am getting stb not supported with another provider for one of the Mag 420s.

OK, so it is playlist setup then

The link 4me has there shows how to use a Playlist on other Mags (non-android models), I do not know if that procedure would work on Ministra middleware or not. The procedure involves using the Mag onboard Player. But check out the procedure to find out of it will work on your Mag.
If it does work then that may be the best method for that box (or at the least it is the most easily accessed method).

But if this Mag 410 is a Android Hybrid model, then there are other options..


If that 420 model is an android then you can install Players that will play an m3u Playlist.

Perfect Player, VLC Player, Playlist Player, ProgTV and etc..

There are sticky threads here on site that will show you how to get the Playlist or Playlist URL from the service.
Check in the service sub forums.

You could use the URL that leads to the Playlist or a hardcopy of the Playlist (.m3u file)

Is the 420 an Android hybrid ?

There are other methods too . One is thru addons run thru the Kodi Platform
