theres been a little change in the way the pvr is loading i think i too got the error 1st time today in a long time manually change the time in the "connection_timeout" mine got auto reset to 0 and ive only needed to do it 1 time and all channels load up

In the configuration make sure you are using (and have linked) a 79 as your third MAC number. Also enter your donation number as username and PW I think???

EDIT: Oh, and don't forget the "disable live tv -> clear data -> restart kodi -> enable tv" process every time you change something in the PVR.

There was a change this morning that requests Kodi and Emulators to use 00:1A:78 as the prefix. Make sure it matches in PVR Stalker as well as properly linked to your donation.

I downloaded and installed PVR Stalker 0.8.3 (for Android)
Under configuration:
I added my donation mac address (which is working in the addon)
The server address is http://11.iptvprivateserver.tv
Guide preference is "Prefer XTML"
Scope is "Remote URL"
Remote URL is "http://is.gd/NFPSE

I have not filled in any other sections althought I would like to change the Time Zone to Pacific/Auckland

There is no need to change the time zone, the EPG should still be working correctly. Did you change the timeout settings? I think it is set to 60 per default. When I had problems, the timeout happened immediately without any delay. I changed it down to 15 and the loading process took some time, but started working.

Also the EPG is not up to date at the moment, but that is something you can work on fixing once you see channels.

have you tried clearing the data in the EPG?, first turn live TV off, then back on after you cleared the data in the epg, do this a couple of times

Even though you did get IPTV Stalker to work, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are properly linked at the server, and there isn't much we can do as users, other than to make small changes to the MAC. Even if the donation page accepts your mac, it has accepted known bad MACs in the past.

it will work, just a matter of fiddling around, my epg works fine had trouble with my stalker addon, worked fine on my ipad, not on the android, so after a week or so of fiddleing with the android, I noticed I was missing 2 digits in the mac #, LOL, hours of my life I`ll never get back, simple case of, you look but you dont see

you`ll have to download the modified stalker client and increase the time out to 60, also on this site there`s a way to even modify that and extend it even more, you might try putting on one of your android devices, if it work there then you know its something on your PC, but dont run both devices with the same donation # at the same time, also i`d try the TV on and off again, and clearing data

Alright I promised an update and after trying everything I have a solution. Apparently it wasn't loading due to something in the cache of Kodi preventing it. I wiped Kodi completely, updated to 15.1 fresh install, Now Stalker and the EPG and PVR are both working! I will do the same on all my other boxes. Service is wonderful we will continue supporting in the future!

The free sources for EPG data dried up because Microsoft abandoned it. See the xmltv EPG Grabber topic for more info on that, but hopefully they will be back soon.

What seems to be the issue if you don't mind me asking? I read your earlier post and you mentioned it was working? Bear in mind that there are two methods to getting NFPS on Kodi:

Method 1: Using just the Stalker PVR client/addon (this thread)
Method 2: Using the IPTV Simple Client PVR addon in conjunction with the IPTV Stalker video add-on. - (Tutorial (http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?2850-HOWTO-Integrate-EPG-into-PVR-IPTV-Simple-Client-using-IPTV-Stalker-and-I-Vue-TV-Data))

Take a look at the stickies in the PRIVATE SERVER - NFPS forum, and my signature. Quality is 'good enough', and you won't be able to use the PVR Stalker without a paid donation. A linked mac can be used with more than one device, just can't use them simultaneously...and you are right...it was off topic.

FYI to everyone who read my posts before. I was able to fix my PVR Stalker in Windows by removing the http:// before the 11.iptvrocket.tv Not sure why but the minute I removed it cleared the guide and tv information and enabled the pvr it loaded immediately and has been working great ever since!

If you are sending a serial number with IPTV Stalker, you maybe causing an issue with other addons.

its also a good idea if you flick between 2 pvr programs even just to check if one or the other works to delete data and also textures13,cache,logs,cookies.dat and also epg.db if any are left when the pvr starts up your gonna be running into errors with the parsing of channels,portal errors and make sure to clear thye cache from inside iptv stalker video addon by right clicking on NFPS selecting clear cache. it is really sensitive when multipul addons of the same program run and they always leave bits behind when you delete via the settings inside of kodi/xbmc

I am testing both EPG solutions, and as long as IPTV Stalker is prevented from sending a serial number, iVue guide can be used even if you loaded channels and guide with the PVR Stalker. I'm working with Drivium to see if its possible to not have to modify iVue or IPTV Stalker without screwing up authentication.

Anyway I did notice that PVR Stalker stops working initially if you do use IPTV Stalker, but all you need to do is the disable/enable TV to get PVR running again. I'd rather not deal with the "authentication" issues that get caused by ghost data getting passed between the add-ons and the server, so hopefully we can get everything for us 'paid' users.

in windows if you make changes on the stalker time zone and do not do it in the right format it will not load. ex.=I try for Atlantic time and put Atlantic/ Canada .it will not load. try America/ La paz . no dice. Then try America/Caracas then it worked. so, I when back changing only the time zone and it stop working. I believe that there are had 2 choices to leave the time zone the way it came or I could change the time zone ,(like I did using America/Caracas for Atlantic time), using America/ and find witch other city work for your time zone. hope this help. it work for me. And it could be as simple than that. in resume if I don´t put the time zone on the right format using a city that works it won´t load. check and recheck by me.

Got it loaded on OE finally.

For those on OE, the issue is with IPTV_Stalker in video addon. In the GUI, disable Custom Mac Address, and disable PVR IPTV Simple Client. Next generate a new MAC address, and link it to your donation.

Set the new Mac address in PVR Stalker.

Under TV clear data.

SSH and edit the PVR Stalker setting.xml to 120 save.

Then reboot.

If it did not load, double check the timing in the xml is still set to 120, if yes, the MAC address you generate is not good, generate another.

I have got this loaded on Rocket with 12 boxes thus far.

The problem is that you have one addon, IPTV Stalker (1.2.0) sending a fake serial number, while the PVR Stalker client is not, so you'll have an authentication error with the Stalker Client. See the modified IPTV Stalker 9.0.19 instructions on how to clear the sent serial number... essentially you need a new MAC and not send the serial number if you want to run IPTV Stalker or PVR Stalker in the future.

I just updated my rasp. pi 2 on Kodi 16 Alpha and it has stalker 0.9.7 I think in it the address for rocket server that I used and worked is

I didn't enter EPG as it seems it pulls it from server.

Right now, I see that the "Sort by" field only has 2 options - Name or Number. Anyone knows how to do custom sort?

Figured it out. I am using Aeon MQ 5 skin that does not have the option to disable the channel order from backend. Switched to confluence, disabled the option and switched it back to Aeon MQ 5 :)

i have a paid m3u list that i added to simple tv but have given up trying to find an EPG url that would work , so i am here installing stalker etc as in OP , am not wanting to pay donation , i dont need "working" stalker channels , jut wanted to install the guide and then add my links , via favourites like people do in ivue ?
but when disabling and re-enabling live tv , i get " nfpsf authorisation failed " , so do i have to pay $80 , or slink back to ivue with my tail between my legs ? i dont like ivue user interface.

You can make a monthly donation on the iks66 site. Choose iks plus free iptv. You can use it on a windows pc.

I'm running the rpi version of this add-on and connecting via the iptv66 portal. The experience is top notch! Great work!

My only issue is that it never seems to populate guide data. I have my donation number entered into the configuration but it still doesn't populate the guide data even though it says it is and doesn't give an error saying otherwise. It's worth noting that while my donation is paid for the next 70 days, i have always had issues logging into the iptv66 site with the number because they provided one that starts with 6821 but only seem allow searches on their site for ones starting in 6820. http://iptv66.com/ I can log in with route checker but not order status

It's something else entirely. The 'Search Your Order' feature doesn't work & has been discussed here many times. I've no idea why it hasn't either been fixed to work with orders beginning with 6821 or just taken down as it leads to confusion.

Sometimes the guide data doesn't populate for one reason or another, but always does if any errors have been discovered or if there's a problem at source, so if it's the case that yours never populates the issue is definitely at your end & has to be either a configuration error or maybe a device memory issue.

Can't get the new pvr.stalker addon to work with OpenElec. Used the linux version downloaded from **********/and whenever the PVR attempted to start up it failed and disabled the add-on.

From that I'm assuming the linux build linked on the epg webpage is specifically the OpenElec Rpi build (which is 32bit ARM).
The standard openelec build targeted for x86_64. Are there plans to provide a version compatible with the standard OpenElec build as compared to just the raspberry pi?

Can use the old one but then don't get the kick-arse EPG. Is there a way I can use the old built-in client (which works on openelec), but specify a slightly different XMLTV url for the EPG? I see there are references to URL's in the OP but the only thing in there is a link to the ********** site which just provides the new pvr.stalker which then doesn't work on openelec.

Glad you got it sorted in the end. To avoid any potential authentication errors in the future you could either disable or completely uninstall the IPTV Stalker Video Addon, as some people can happily have both enabled but some people can't, so if it happens again that's probably the best thing for you to do as you don't need the Video Addon if you're happy with the PVR Client/Live TV.

Well changing it to [url]http://portal.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/ in the PVR worked for me. I've been at this for awhile now. I have received so many different errors before that change and it cleared all of them ie "device conflict, No active PVR ect ect" . I am using 78.xx.xx.xx not 79 in my ip address and IPTV stalker is pointing to portal. not 11. I did have to populate the other setting in PVR Stalker to match my IPTV stalker setting for device 1 and 2 and signature. I did not populate password.

Has anyone noticed lately that many live channels (from Rocket) are coming in about a 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9? I checked my kodi settings, but no setting appears to affect this.

make up a new mac randomly and set it up on papiao. if it doesnt take, that mac is likely in use.. try another one... I have removed the generator link from the OP as it seems to not be that random i guess.

Ok, so I received my mac and donation # from a reseller. I can still set this up on papiao? This is my first foray into the iptv stalker area so excuse my green-ness. :)

yes kameleon if you have a valid donation number you can go to the papiao site and change your mac.

Thanks for that. I think part of my problem was the 3rd octet of my MAC was 79 instead of 78. I know the app only needs the last 3 octets but for some odd reason after changing the 3rd one to 78 it initially gave me authorization failed but then it loaded all the channels. I am now able to watch my TV. Thank you!!!!

Next, I am using the epg from stalker but when I click on a channel to watch it I get a different screen that I have to choose "switch" in order to view the channel. Is there a better way to do this that would make it not do that?

recording has to be enabled by nfps which it is not.
if your using kodi 16 u can pause live tv though.

i have kodi 15.2 running on android and went through the setup on page 1. I tried with Stalker Client NFPS and Stalker Client but i keep on getting an error message : unknown error "can't load DLL" using both addon.

Also when i enable the Stalker addon, it gets disabled after an error message appears..

I am comfortable with the setup since i did it on previous old version of kodi and worked fine. I cant figure out why i cant get it running following the instructions step by step.

If Kodi isn't an option due to the dll problem on your android device and you can't root to fix your permissions, I suggest using the STB Emulator.
