Kodi v19 is out! Keep in mind, we have updated everything to Python 3, so make sure any addons you use have been updated, or they will be marked as incompatible on upgrade.

For users of IPTVXtra2 Video Add-on, as it is compiled now, it will be marked as incompatible.

The apps are not blocked. They need to be re-written to Python 3 code.
The problem is the Auto updating, on such a major system change.

* You should see how many complaints have been posted in the last week or so.

I think most will be walkng away from kodi python3 is to much hassle.
Kodi is tryin to keep it clean.They are wiping out old dependencies
on the older versions like their doing here in 17.6 their wiping out the
sports devil addon and f4mtester on all earlier versions (Why do that) if you install 19
not much will work on earlier versions now.I would not install 19
if you think you can still use it see the migration here.

This is going to cause a redirection in the hacker community
the focus is now on media boxes they already have mags/informir
many of them dont like what they have done to kodi to make them go
in this direction.

kodi older versions
need to back peddle a little on this one although most all addons
will not work the pvr client is still working as it did before.
they did get the old shaneys playlist loader but the azn playlist loader is still working on old versions
dont know if you can add the new script module to the older versions if that would work it would bring back
php streams like pluto xumo bumblebee stirr watchyour.tv these would auto update but you can stll add them in their m3u8
form to your playlists

setup was actually easy. With the new scipt module
addresses we may be able to get php streams.
have not tried a epg yet but m sure it works
no need to input usernames/passwords
just the m3u


they need to figure out how to do python2/3
in all versions that should have been done
doing it twice is bs...

im on windows the only way to stop the migration second pic post 6
is to not download 19 to windows

**Important**
Go to System Settings/Addons/My Addons/Services/ - Version Check <- *Disable this addon or it will cause another Update to 19.

*If you Installed from an Approved Source (Windows Store/ Google Playstore etc.), you must disable Automatic Updates for the Kodi app.

my kodi matrix is down wont even open started last night locking up and freezing ive tried it on my firestick too same issue surfed a lil bit last night on kodi forums and it seems to b happening to others as well as windows and mac users too // just a heads up and yes i use a vpn and ive tried it with vpn and with out same thing ..

Have updates turned off in playstore as was well for a couple months then bang updated to 19 again ... How did this happen?
What are some good alternates to using KODI?

Still using Kodi 18.0 ...!!!

Go into the Menu scroll to Apps...

Click the Kodi icon...

Scroll down to Notifications and Click it to either Turn them On or Off... In 4me's Menu it is set to Off...!!!

for me my issue was a tracktv sync , they werent getting along n the begining and i still havnt redone it but i have had zero issues after that ..
