Is Exidus Redux Dead ??

I have Kodi 18.9 on FirestickI saw a post a few days ago that said "Exodus Redux is dead. use an updated addon from the sticky". Is this true? I have Exodus Redux version 2.0.3a by I-A-C. I find the Internet has all sorts of misleading things about Kodi, indeed there are still many web sites that promote Exodus Redux this month, from what I can tell.Is it true that I should remove Exodus Redux? I have read the Addon sticky, but many many terms and phrases people use are confusing to me. Some you have to pay for but others not. It takes some time for me to install things as IM not very good at these things. Is there a replacement that is free for Exodux Redux that would be recommended.

Must be true if its on reddit. lol Exodus redux is working, there was a pop out banner that said if having issues change settings to default. You can press menu and update the plugin.
