Recording and closed caption features.

Recording capability of MAG254 programs - you could use A/V out of this unit to record but quality won't be that good as that of HDMI output. Is it possible to record via USB port to an external Hard Drive. My second question that when APP. Button is pressed on the remote control Sub Title feature is always OFF on MAG254. It means there is no closed caption/Sub Titles available from this unit.

Whether you will recording or not depends on the administrator of the portal. The subtitles are also under his control in the presence of an indefinite number of language needs here is not difficult to guess the answer.
