Setup aVOV TVOnline

Hi,

I just got this box in the mail today. Can someone please point me to setup this box? Thanks in advance.

first thing is the wifi or ethernet connection.
Know which you will use and get into the menus and find them settings. Then upon interent connection it should take you thru a server set up (TVOnline set-up).
1.iptvprivateserver.tv is the server addy you want to enter.
After checking that out, you can also explore the Channel Store. Install an APP and check it out.

box really will set it self up, you just help it along :)
If any trouble, then a factory data reset will take you back to start with no issues :)

I got setup on wi-fi connection but can't find option to setup 1.iptvprivatesrevr.tv. Select IPTV icon from the menu but nothing popup to enter. Is there button I need to press?

Looking at the setting menu I don't see server button on mine. My build number is 1.0.8 and demo show v1.0.7. Is there software need update on the box first?

Did exactly as suggested but select "check now" but I don't see any update coming down...go back but still no server setting. Sorry asking too many ?, i thought it easy as 123 setup but so far no luck seeing option server setting.

so your telling me after boot up you dont see setting will see video club iptv next to that setting after you click on setting go to server setting to add the url

here are the options from menu, video club, iptv, settings, my apps, market, local media...click on settings I see time, ethernet, sys info, miracas, airplay &dlna, parental control, wifi hotspot, pppoe, homepage, applications
go to sys info select auto update on
press check now but don't see any activity download
try wifi no go and ethernet connect cable see ip address fine and I'm able to browse internet

any build will work with that TVOnline box.
You see no update cause there is none recent.

unplug box first and reconnect and see if you can get to that server input menu

this tells us that yes indeed it is a TVOnline avov model and not a Vixo avov model.

Nope, on the box itself I see RED light only no green light.

I thought that too since a lot apps is embedded just need plug-in server setting scroll the listing from Markets can't access anything. I know my internet connection is good since I can browse using Home Page opton

ok you have internet but when you first did this box did it update at all you would have seen bar with lots numbers moving every avov i own needed to update at the beginning or wont work

Try doing an update again the current build is 1.0.12
Model number should be avov_TLP

Nope I didn't see any update at all nor any numbers moving like you mention. When I first hook it all up nothing display and I check my hdmi cable was lose then reseat. I unplug power and plug-in again. After the reseat hdmi calbe it boot up with option set language, date/time, display, and click Done. After that I try all the embedded on Markets but only can scroll up/down the list and select the option.

Thanks guys for all your tips. I'm so sorry for this keep bugging your guys. I thought it was a 5 minutes setup but turn out to be nightmare. I'm wonder if this is a bad box since don't see the option for "server setting" no matter what have been try so far.

what i would do unplug it till tomorrow then do a factory reset and see if it will let you update i would try use static ip address for Ethernet
what you told me this box never talked to server to get the info to run

Yes I did go there and select check now a lot times but nothing showing. No popup saying this is current version or anything after select check now.

this box should be 5 min job turn on internet let it update add url end of story your box didnt update wont work if it hasn't done that

you can try this too take it to friends house it may work at his and one last thing try different cable and port on your router reboot router and the turn on avov
good luck and do a few things i said to try this should have been a 5 min job

If all that don't work contact the reseller and exchange it for a new one
Because that can also be a firmware issue but try what asft said first.

Thanks all your guys helping me out yesterday try different things and your patience. I follow David link below flash firmware and able to do 5 minutes setup. I'm up/running.

i have the same problem here its seems that the box doesn't connect to the mickyhop site so you can download the iptv app

hi - were you able to fix it? i did a factory reset and the box is directly connected with wired ethernet and it does not connect to server setting (does not show server settings on settings). can any one help me.

First, it's not good form to post the same question in many threads. Try not to do this in the future.

Second, make sure you have put the correct MAC from the device into the donation checker. If you did start with a factory reset and let the box update properly, you should be able to see the "Server Settings" from "Settings" and then click OK. There you should be able to enter the Server URL, click on the "Use Credentials" box, and enter your donation number.

If you still are having issues, start your own thread.
