From the Home Screen
Go to Update on the bottom of the settings row
Check for Update.

- Updated Android Security Patch to May 2020
- Updated to latest Android 9 SDK
- Optimized RAM
- Added Working Netflix App
- Updated + Fixed Chrome App
- Added TeamViewer Quick Support. Remote Control support works now without a License.
- Updated Backup/Restore Feature. Box will reboot and install a 2nd time
- Fixed some Google App Crashes
- Fixed the ding notification in the background.
- Fixed the Media Player Launcher Crash
- Fixed Power ON/OFF in suspend mode when using Bluetooth Remote

- Fixed an issue when scrolling EPG grid, that if another program had started within the 30 min time slot, the currently playing program will be highlighted now.
- Fixed an issue with VOD/TV Series when using Secondary Player and getting Media Format not supported error, it will work now.

Hi I can not update to the 6-25-2020 update. It's to around 17 to 43 % and locks up every time. I have tried the auto update when the init is started up and also the manual update as well. Any thoughts or suggestions?

First suggestion with an issue that guest is having is to try hard-wired Ethernet instead of WiFi... If that has not been tried yet.

I had been racking my brain because I knew there was something else that was simple and could be possible cause.
My brain was starting to hurt :eek:

Just did the update here. I went thru the Update manually option found on the default Home Screen.
It went well.
The first step it shows the percentage indicator loading the file onto the box and then it installs the file in the second step.
No interruptions with ether step were experienced.

I have only one app on this box that I installed besides the default apps that the box comes with.
I have the XRS4500 hard-wired with Ethernet to router.

Them channels that were not working before, are now working, as was confirmed with the beta tests on the XR4000 model.
I have been using the Secondary Player.

MediaPlayer Launcher is no longer crashing.

man you must have chit load apps that take weeks to update then me would take time because of that

me i did it for test how many i could add was chit load i can tell you that and free dont think so for 4k i wish you can do it free but so many hiccups but lower then that a chit load stuff couldn't add it all would take a day for box to update lol never get watch tv i would say all you need is 5 to ten great apps

i said found problem with box nope it was the batteries from the remote lock my box up that was problem so check you batteries now then wow was thinking it was box
