If you did not auto-update from Repo installed versions, you can download the addon from the link below, and install or update manually.


Features;
PVR Setup and System Tools: Change EPG Format/ Enable an External Player/ Enable Mouse remapping/ LiveTV Backup/ Run a Speed Test.
*Change EPG source (Provider/ Alternate/ Merged)
*Ext.Video Player (Android only and requires MX Player (free ver.)to be installed on your system first)
*Mouse remapping changes button and scroll functions for mouse users
*LiveTV Backup is a raw TV List from Provider
*Internet Speedtest to your Local ISP
LiveTV EPG Guide: Quick link to EPG
Video-on-Demand: Shows a Category list of all VOD Groups
*Can select full listing or show only new additions since your last update.
Pay-per-View: Shows a List of recent PPV Selections'
Use Alternate EPG: If Disabled, will use Providers EPG. If Enabled, will use an Alternate EPG from the source entered.
Merge Alternate and Provider EPG data: If Enabled and Alternate EPG is Enabled, will combine both EPG data, using the Alternate as main, and Provider as secondary. *Any channels missing from main, will be added from secondary, if present.
'Movie Information: Gets Movie Metadata from Server
Play Trailer: Requests movie trailer from YT & Plays media
Add to Kodi Library: Creates a .strm file with the Movie url and sends an update request to the Kodi Library database (Kodi requests detailed Movie metadata from The Movie Database (TMdB) and populates internal database with the information for the new addition.

Just updated to 16.1.
Changed VOD info display back to full data, and added Sort by function.

At present I do not have a Linux setup to try on.
Could you try the 16.3 version for me?
*It is now in the repository, or the link in post1 is updated.

As far as I know, it should work on all platforms.
It is written using Kodi "%special" protocol for all file system calls.

I remember you had problems with a specific Platform/processor, but can't remember the outcome.

Please let me know.

Upon IPTVXtra startup you are asked if you want to do an update.
Select Yes.
You can choose categories to update.
*TV channels and EPG format changes require a restart.
*PPV and VOD does not require restart.
You will be asked to select the VOD categories to update (select multiple items and click OK).
Upon restart, select no to do an update, select Video on Demand, select a category that you updated.

Does LiveTV channels work?
When you say "My account info still shows blanks", are you referring to Account info tab on main menu?
* There is a bug in that section( window opens Empty, close window and it opens again with all account info, close window and it opens Empty, then you can close it ???)

Can you provide a Debug.log or the Kodi.log (or just the pertinent ERROR: lines)?
or just more info re; platform / linux version/ kodi version etc.

I remember something about Connection pool errors with libreElec, but that's it!

Above my skill level....... I run the service thru PVR with a small playlist. When I wanted to watch a channel not on my playlist,
I went to IPTVXTRA to watch there, because you could watch any channel in the service list. Now that function is no
longer there, leaving only VOD. I'll just pass on XTRA since I get plenty of movies from KODI and Trakt.

That function is still there.
Moved it to "PVR setup & System Tools" labeled LiveTV Backup.

Now that I know about this, I will setup a Linux environment to test on.

Three days now, IPTVXtra II does not function. It loads the channels ie: CNN / MSNBC etc. The channels does not work anymore.
I run IPTVXtra II version 7.7 inside KODI 18.7, on Raspberry Pi, and version 7.8 on Kodi 18.8 on Android and both same issue.
This only starred (3) days ago, before that, ran flawless.
Checked the Kodi log.
p1.iptvrocket.tv/.............
ERROR Open-fail to open source.
Strangely, PVR Simple client works fine with live TV on both devices.
Has the format of the live URL changed?

**UPDATE - Re-read your Post and missed that you are using versions 7.7 & 7.8. You need to update to latest version 16.5(See link in Post#1 of this Thread)
Yes, it changed months ago!
.tv changed to .ru
* I think they left both URL's valid, for users time to make changes. Maybe this period has ended.

I included both url's (.tv and .ru Server portals) in the IPTVXtra2 settings, almost a year ago, and posted a notification.
Change your Portal in the IPTVXtra2 settings and shutdown Kodi.

(Recommend you now do an IPTV Reset on your Account info page (may not be required, but just to be safe)).

Restart Kodi.
Launch IPTVXtra2 and upon startup, select update all, selecting all VOD categories you use and PPV.

Shutdown and restart Kodi and IPTVXtra2

No, I never setup a filemanager type link.
You have to install from the zip file.
*use a browser on your device or if fire stick, install downloader from Amazon store, and use that for all downloads
