Mag 425a & Ministra

Has anyone tested the new Mag 425a with any iptv subscriber. I understand the new Mag 425a uses Ministra as its new Middleware opposed to the Mag254 Stalker Middleware. I don't see a need to download the STB Emulator in order to use iptv.
Can't I just input my subscribers info into Portal section and Watch tv?

Damn. Have (3) Mag254's was just looking for an upgrade. Better off sticking with the mags i guess. I just so used to the external portal loading portion of it, I dont see a point in downloading an stb emulator thats all. But thanks

You do not need an emulator with any of those, same as Mag 250/254

Ima Mag user, and had intentions of buying a new mag. Any update to supporting Ministra? If not, what apps are good?

There are many apps but If you want to use an app then why not just get one of the buzztv, dreamlink or formuler because they come with their own built in app/system. And on top of that you can download STB emulator exactly as your Mag 254 and on top of that you can download many many other app. if you really wanna go for an app then I would recommend one of these boxes then download third party app if you don’t like their built in app.
