it been 8 days now for me that it freezes or skips just want know if its me in west coast want find out so i can contact my internet provider about it why i ask any box i use will do same

yea only few say that i want know for sure is west coast having problems that only true way to tell thats why im asking is west coast having problems or is it my provider they gave free service to all so was wondering if that had something to do with it

If it IS Free For All then Everybody must bee using it...! The UnEmployment Data Bases down here in the South have been Shutting Down due to Everyone trying to get that $24. an Hour Rate when They were only getting $8-$15 on the JOB...!

You are not alone.:rolleyes: West, South, East, and North are having problems as well. :mad:Skipping and repeating also shutting down, along with some channels not working at all are they your problems ? They are mine also. Yesterday it was good a day with service for me. Today I have not checked service. But you are right 3 weeks was tough to deal with..Check to see if your free service is strong enough for IPTV. Take care good friend and be safe.:o ... andkaal

so I got a new box a week ago today 4500xrs and it has run pretty much flawless a couple of skips and freezups
I had a 5 year old box with Kodi and every night for the last month it would start buffering freezing looping etc. but not the new box
East Coast is the location running smooth for me day or night so far

i got new box old box any provider all same here just not us that why i asked it works early in day and i dont watch tv till night time got take care everyone stay safe all thanks for ifo and yea its not the server itself but the internet itself cant handle the load which we put on it wish i could change my provider but need to go cat 45 through house which cost me about 500 bucks dont have that right now then i can go gig up or down for what i pay now

If you are in a densly populated area, you will share your local circuit with a lot of customers.
Do a speed test a few times during the period in question.
If you know how to ping trace the server, check it also.

i am in rural area and get odd freezing and do get skipping but overall still good here .

only way i can watch is take the remote go from that channel and start movie and go back but this happens every 5 mins i got lots stuff on kodi and apks wife just wants here dang show if she not happy guess what im not happy

Marley, You can do the Cat5 Run Yourself... There are How-to's, just use Google or Bing...! Don't have to do the Whole Place, just run one line to the Outlet You need for the TV...!

no where it is at they need run in attic and only have small point to go through have phone in bedroom and kitchen need it in small bedroom and panel is in my master closet upstairs

Panel in the master sounds like a newer house? Most of the new houses used cat5 from The panel to each phone outlet. You may already have cat5 running throughout the house. Unless itÂ’s an older house, I canÂ’t see them running cat3. FYI

Your Having problems all the time?
I had problems from 5:30pm to 6:20pm pacific time Last couple days that All tho !! Other then that it’s been very stable!! Been very impressed lately very fast channel changes now, witch started this week.... still VOD a no go it’s Telus and Shaw from my research..

Well, I'm on Vancouver Island and I can tell you that its been sad to bad with freezing and I doubt it has anything to do with the internet provider. I haven't changed my devices, my provider nor any of my hardware, router or modem. I strongly suspect the servers as I wasn't using wireless, a VPN or any other hardware that would cause a time delay, buffering, freezing and pixelation to the point of pulling my hair out. My guess relates to the servers and how well they work on all those Spanish channels with HD as there have been some changes which includes some spanish channels mixed in with english channels and some english channels mixed in with the higher Spanish channels. Then there's the cloud but nothing fixes the Chinese channels or CCTV channels which are really bad but then CPAC on channel 2476 has been down for so long that I have no idea why they keep it listed. Indeed, many changes have been going on and it doesn't have anything to do with western Canada.

oh today tv works great wife is happy now im happy so give it time i guess if it was server thanks which it could of been with all home and there fixing that but i think just so many home messed everything up so still i tell all stay safe and give it time don't be mad hold kids play with them or call friend there is way more to life then just tv give mom a call or dad and tell them how much you love them we now here if you dont wear a mask its thousand dollar fine or jail looks like we all are going to rob the store and if you bring your own bags you got to take cart to car and then you can bag them

It's everyday now. Starts freezing about 4:00pm PST and ends about 6:00pm PST. I'm sure it's the overseas overlords doing something with the servers. Sooner or later they will stop and the freezing will stop...... Until they want to do it again..

Well, tonight hasn't changed much from last night and I don't have Telus or Shaw but I do have the same provider I had before the freezing, buffering, looping began but then I really can't recall if or when all channels were up as CCTV 1, 2, 3 have been more down than up and CPAC on 2476 has been down so long I can't remember when it was up. I have no such issues on Netflix, Youtube but then there's a cloud up there and it might be getting darker as I speak. Anyone remember when WGN Chicago was up and running on 210 ?

When something happens during peak times, its usually what happens when too many people are online and if those servers are being overloaded, they begin to try and serve everyone and then the buffering, freezing and pixelation begins or sometimes it just goes offline and things go black. More servers or better servers might provide the cure but it appears the Spanish channels are having less issues than the English channels although the Brtitish channels are a guess at best as they are down more often than they're up.

will i can say now for two days it just ok but happy i know now it will get better in time cant just fix this one overnight i wish but im sure they are working hard at it all i can say is thanks rocket i know it bad out there stay safe too tv is great to have but all your lives mean more then that too

Something else may be going on which may or may not apply but consider this......if everyone is staying home and complying with the coronavirus situation, it might mean many more people are going online, watching the news especially between 4pm and 7pm. This might be a major cause of many of the problems arising from the coronavirus situation. I might be wrong about this but its something to consider. Something else I have noticed and that is some channels which appear to be down, offline may have more to do with the media player as you know some media players lack the right video or audio codecs, sometimes both. Its just another bone in the soup in the pot of possibilities ?

yea i said that too but we are not the only one this is happening to i know of 5 others that aren't working right some are real bad but all in all we will get through this i can truly say mine is getting back to norm not there yea but all most thats on rocket iptv and 66 finally got to go outside and cut grass been raining here like 40 days and 40 night water is coming into my house that much rain my dog poop in house which gets me mad put i wont even go out thats how hard its been raining

It's not just you most members have given up complaining. Service is over subscribed for the servers. it's not my end I've proven that to my self many times over with my upload & download speeds and the fact I can stream every other service (and multiple at the same time) without issues. It is what it is and one has to judge for themselves value of the servise to themselves.

For those using a modem, router and other related hardware, you should take the time to check on each device and see if the manufacturer has newer firmware for each of your devices. Powering off your modem and other devices while allowing the modem to reboot will help maintain a faster connection to your provider. I would recommend doing this hard reboot once a week or more as it will reduce freezing issues. I discovered, my modem was the only device that didn't have newer firmware to download or install. My router, android box both needed firmware updates with the android box needing two and worked much better after as it cured some of the bugs it came with.
