I remember it like it was yesterday...56 years ago today on November 22, 1963 John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. :(

An older thread I guess, but I do too I was in Mrs. Timmons class in school. I lived in Winston Salem NC. at the time. Everyone went outside and after a while we got out of school. It was a strange day, something of that magnitude, and a lot of things just went on like any other day. JFK was really not his dads favorite son. Joe senior really wanted Joe junior to be president, he didn't put as much support behind John. Real history of Joe Seniors life is not a vision of Camelot as it was presented after John became president. JFK was his own MAN and did what he thought was right for the country devil be damned. The same genre of people who dislike Trump so much did not like him. I always wondered who pulled lee harvey oswalds string.
