Well, you can set your watch it now. IPTV goes down same time every night, about 5:15pm, and doesn't work for the rest of the night. Oh wait.... I'm sure it's MY equipment that works just fine all day and then mysteriously stops working the same time every night.. Ya right.. This is getting old. I won't be renewing anymore.

I had always been sying that it is ISP related and not your own personal home network or your connection to ISP
I know that the connections you guys have are more then adequate (speeds and etc)
Problem does lie in ISPs and always has ... as I been saying all along.
Why do you think that a DNS change was helping in some cases ?

People jump to conclusions when I mention ISP and or networks and bounce back with comments like this ... And yes, I know your connections are good and more then adequate as I said,. And that has nothing to do with what I been saying and testing for you guys all along.

I had the same thing happening to me except it was from 8pm to 11pm every night. I changed internet providers and the problem went away immediately.

This has been going on every night for over 3weeks now . Its Not Internet Provider . I think its safe to assume Rockets may be done. Ive used them for many years since the old Sat Days . Its Never been this bad . Completley unwatchable Every single Night . I have a friend who uses the Brand with a' Grizzly Bear as its logo' and even after the big shutdown they had in Europe , Hes been Back up and running for weeks with No problems and just laughing at me . I hope Rockets can sort this out soon

everyones internet is getting slower , all the major players all have reports of internet problems ( you can't see it but i can ) ...... my personal opinion is that everyone well a lot of people are streaming more content then before .... and nobodys system can handle it ........ but you would have to know the breakdown the common breakdown to understand what i really mean .... if you wish i will/can explain .... it's been awhile since i posted something useful that wasn't garbage ;x

the masses are the cause of it all ..... people can't go anywhere without the phone , and this new generation of people instead of talking to each other everything is text .. or lets go meet off some dating website ..... more people now have social anxiety then ever before .... our technology has destroyed this new generation of people its very sad ........ it's the streaming/texting , video calls the " online life " is the cause of all the systems getting slower and slower ...... i wrote a 40 page report else-where in the forbidden section years ago & now i see really getting bad , i didn't think it happen this quick and neither did anyone else ...... i keep seeing the words i have fiber .. lol right ..... that tells me 99.9 of the world including this forum has no idea what the F they're talking about ....... it's sad ......

This is exactly what I been trying to get across, but had not the skills or tech to convey it.
But the info I been presented with and tested, always leads me to these conclusions.
Most times I just post results and maybe a few thoughts on the matter. But them results should lead anyone of you guys to possible reasons, besides the reason that 'my internet is better then yours' reason.

i'll take a popular state in united states as my prime example .... you go walk down hollywood blvd and you'll see parts of the grid both underground and aerial .. i am not going to use both aerial and underground because it will be very confusing to lots of people ... unless you want to be confused i'll just stay with underground ......

You walk down hollywood blvd and you see manholes both in the sidewalks and the streets all of those manholes have a purpose ... they're called a manhole run one manhole run will be distribution feeding markets and offices and stores gas stations banks and ect .. i will avoid talking about such grids because none of us live in a office buildings and for security reasons ( this is a public forum ) lol ;D .....

The other manhole run will be residential that feed houses , apartments , condos , ect .... 60% of los angles still runs off lead cables that were installed in the 1920's meaning copper lines , or paper plastic cables also called a trunk run due to the size and amount of pairs per cable , like a 2700 pair or 3500 pair copper cable , that still feed to the CO central office to your house or where ever you live .... 10% of everyone is still running on a system built in the late 80's called broadband , basically a giant coax cable POS , and 30% are running on fiber optics .. but if you have fiber in your house , doesn't mean its fiber all the way back to the CO thats feeding it , it will pass through those giant copper cables called trunk runs , that are either lead cable , plastic paper , plastic plastic , or paper paper , or another words just copper ..... so i think its funny as hell when people say they have fiber at there house , but it passes through some 1920's copper cable or something still from the 80's ......

it's 2019 not 2910 all that cabling isn't going to be replaced over night , they didn't start putting in fiber optics till the 90's it will take another 60-70 years to replace and remove all those copper lines that still feed all those houses , business , ect ect ......

and if your out in the sticks in a rural town , 99.9 change you are still running on copper lines twisted pairs or the CO is pushing as much as they can on those lines to compete with each other .......

so basically if your house was built in the 90's your on copper or coax 2010 and above your on fiber but not 100% fiber ...... and if you live out in the sticks your 99.9 % on old copper lines .......

all these companies are already pushing huge loads to try to service everyone back then , now everyone's running around streaming everything , taking videos , pictures , and with all the social media sites being really popular , everyone is attached to the phones by the hip , we won't get into the cell towers i'll really loose everyone ;x

what i know most of you will never know your entire life .... its sad but true ..... but i can assure you people like me exist .......

so what im trying to say is everything is already over loaded , so adding the streaming tv , all the online video game consoles , social media crap , the massive uploading of photos of everyone taking pictures of themselves , youtube , and google maps , this or that is really slowing down the entire system everywhere !!!!!!!

then you got your peek hours of entertainment fri-day through sunday everyone and there brother on the internet and tv , slowing it down ,,, and the 5-10 peek time for business people , children and teenagers are 11-2:30 or use to be they seem to be indoors all the time on computers and gaming consoles , so there peek times really never go away , all of the contributes to outages and just a giant slow grid .... nobody anticipated its growth so fast , then you have to factor in all the ECM's because nobody is playing fair here , fires , floods , people hitting poles or getting drunk slamming into B Boxes and vaults .... and thats just the communications lol ..... lets not talk about anything else ;x

very well explained an I see this everyday exactly what you just wrote and I do laugh when people tell me they have a fiber lol. they don't see or think anything outside of their house. they don't know how it goes or look from ground (outside of their house) to tap, Amps, trunk lines, nodes,.....to headend :)
and they tell me they find funny when I tell it could be their ISP lol :)

I have checked my freezing issues by going to any of the RT channels to see if any of them freeze and I found there were no freezing issues whatsoever on those channels no matter what time or day I checked. This tells me, it is not the internet service or my provider. It has more to do with the servers of which some servers may be getting too many connections to serve all of the boxes trying to connect. Whenever that happens, the freezing issues begin along with some other issues like pixelation, dropped video and audio. Imagine a long lineup and the server simply can't handle them all so an overload on the server begins with buffering, freezing, etcetera, etcetera although somebody may be working on the system which may or may not contribute to the freezing issues.
Again, check the RT channels and report freezing if they have any freezing issues. Meanwhile, try and find some options like Netflix, open air antenna or ?

I like Wild Turkey, Old Grand Dad, Old Forester, some Jim Beam but all are much like Rum which goes very well with coke & ice. Very smooth. I like Scotch single malts and I would never say no to a few drams of Glenfidich. I am not all that partial to the rye whiskies but I will drink it to be socialable but it wouldn't be something I would buy for myself. I get a bottle every once in awhile and usually pass it on to somebody who likes it more than I do.
