Just to let know how the event ran Sunday night.
Worked great 1st hour, then slowly deterriated.
Lots of freezing and looping backward and ahead through the remainder of Summer Slam.
Looks like as the event went on, more people were joining it all the time.

My Son watched the Encore at 1100PST as there was way too much freezing, as well I told him less stress on the severs (shouldn't be). Very frustrating I'm sure, cause I'm the same way for Hockey, but I sub cause of that reason. He's not up yet cause the Encore ran to 330am PST, so still zzzz, I do know thou he was gonna watch on my Nvidia Shield and on his Laptop at the sametime, just not to miss anything. At the end of the day it is what it is, but more juice on the servers would be great, thanks.

The WWE was terrible Monday & Tuesday on all three channels.
Channel 9105HD, 105 SD & 160 The WWE network.
They say only some channels are affected by the freezing looping & outages.
But these channels are popular close to the weekends & when their is PPV's on Channel 160, some weekends.
There should be more attention to keeping these channels working properly, as what I mentioned about the popularity.

Does any of that apply if I use NFPS(not Android)? I use a Linux HTPC with Librelec.

My current settings using portal 3 are:

Display Refresh Rate = Always
HQ Scalers = 20%
Render Method = Auto Detect (with no acceleration set)

Tried a test.. three unwatchable channels A&E HD, AMC HD, and FX HD. There was NO video difference between my current settings and your requested settings.
After half an hour , AMC,A&E and FX seem to be back to normal.

I've found that MANY of the HD channels ARE working properly. Recently, I have not posted any unwatchable HD channels thinking it was a global problem with
the HD channels. It may be just individual channels are down, and I will now post them now as down and see if they are improved.

Don't know for sure, but it could be that there is a contract dispute with direct tv going on with Bein Sport.
If that were the case, no body would have any control over this, till the dispute would be settled.

Try watching a HD channel for more than 5 minutes. It is constantly pixelated, and every few minutes kicks you back to the guide. The issue has been going on for several months and there are numerous posts about it. I was watching a sporting event yesterday and it kicked me back to the guide every 4-5 minutes. I've tried to watch AMC on Sunday at 5:00AM EST and it was doing the same thing. There is a problem and it doesn't seem like it is being addressed. A check of many Remote streams from the big broadcasters (PBS/ CBS News/ C-Span etc.) are all 720.
A check of 2 other IPTV Services show "All" HD labeled streams as being 720.

I know they can disseminate 1080 without errors as they had 2 days error free on the channels I watched.
*Note: I was using a properly set up Platform that is of the higher end with respect to resources (6 processors / 4 Gig Ram / android 7 & able to Enable Hdwr. Decoding)
(Lesser STB's would have problems)

I thought the same thing originally so I purchased a I7 PC with 16gb for my MCP to run kodi and this is the machine that I use on a day to day basis. The freezing and kicking back to the guide is definitely not from HW limitations. I agree, with you Ken, if 720 will resolve the freezing and kicking back to the guide, then 720 is fine by me.

No EPG data for NBCSN HD, Animal Planet HD, WGN America HD, and Crime and Investigation HD, Viceland HD, Sundance HD, MSG SD, and Discovery Channel SD.
Still getting an occasional video glitch (some sort of picture shift) which clears after a few seconds, but repeats often. This
only happens intermittently on a few channels. For me, I have not had channels cutting out, freezing, or looping on a global basis with
the HD channels. I think that these described problems are unique to the specific channel itself. Instead of posting that all
HD channels are having problems, focus in and post on the SPECIFIC channel, and see if the channel gets resolved..

Good evening, I was a little worried about Bein Sport. But lately the service is much more efficient really is not even the shadow of what it was a year ago, the managers of the house service I think they are reaching the optimum point, of course you can always improve. There is a lot of talk about the bad, but comments about the good are rarely created and I think it is necessary to highlight that much more than what is done. Most of the people who are in the forum are knowledgeable and people with a lot of experience about it and they can do little about the exit of a channel from the programming grid or if there are freezes

If there is a problem with the Service you are using, try remote news channels like WGN Chicago, CBS News, Al Jazeera, The Weather Channel & WeatherNation.
All are remote feeds not from the server.

I think the service here has offered more than they can deliver. Going to HD 1080p was much appreciated, but they cannot support 1080p.
I have found numerous HD channels with video distortion, freezing, cutting off, and looping on restart. The service is happy with the current HD channels
and will not be correcting these issues in the future.


I, and others. suggest the HD channels go to 720p. The quality difference between 1080 and 720 is negligible,, and we would get more reliable channels.

I believe that they are working on it. I noticed that half or more of the US channels were dead over the weekend and into this morning (on portal 4). I checked again at about 10:30 (US Central Daylight Time) today and nearly all were back. I watched several of the channels that had been tearing/skipping and they were trouble free at the time. I also noticed that the Hallmark channel which I think was in 1080 is now back to 720. This all suggests that they are making progress. Fingers crossed.

I concur, appreciate the HD channels that's forsure as well the efforts. Assuming growing pains, however the HD freezes a lot ver SD making HD unwatchable. I have high speed net, so thats not it. Stream Prime and Netflix with no problem, so thinking servers. Again appreciate the efforts and channels, keep up the hard work. h.265 requires more advanced Encoding hardware, and most will wait until it is more aged and costs come down.

Many of the Channels are seeded from satellites.
Since there is a Hurricane warning for a large area, you can expect to have degraded source channels that cut in & out, which will cause our Streams to be messed up.
*Also to note, many of the channels carried by the main Satellite providers, receive many of their source feeds from uplinks that come from all over the country, so geographical location of a weather anomaly will most likely still affect some of your channels.

That's the 1st bit of information you have posted, telling us just a little bit, of what your Original Post was referring to!

You are aware that there is currently a Hurricane in the US, which is disrupting many streams, so if you don't include information such as Server Portal, Platform/ Application used, ISP & BW, even your approx. location with respect to the aforementioned Hurricane, as much of the Internet infrastructure has to switch routes to bypass damaged cables.
*(It's possible that thousands of extra users are switched into a main line, slowing things down)

NFPS, portal 3, It may have been longer but noticed this week that Comedy Central East has no audio, it just bleeps audio for a second every once in a while, could be more channels but i only noticed this one.
