Ran test today during NON-Prime Time (morning 9am - 12-PM) AND Now Prime time (6PM - until post) all EST USA

(my testing procedures are switch channels wait 30 seconds to stabilize & watch for another 30 seconds)

Non-Prime Time almost every channel ran perfect exceptions TBS, ESPN A few other channels had slight what I call slow motion Movement, enough that after a few minutes was annoying. If this was the norm I wouldn't complain (remember I seldom post).

This evening I have been running the same test procedures and the results are night & day different, I can't find a single channel that's not Freezing excessive to the point of a total waste of time trying to watch.

This is typical what I have experienced for Months on end.

What does this tell me ? Servers are overloaded (Oversold the bandwidth) and it seems that the problem is not being addressed.

December is my renewal time. Decisions in the making.

As a side note I have 25 mbps Download. Running Kodi 17.6 on a Windows 10 HTPC as primary & a Android MXIII as backup with same results. IPTV Portals P1 & P3 etc with resets don't make any difference (it did at one time in the distant past) All my other Addons run almost to perfection (with changes to update ones being maintained)

I would pay more for consistent up time and with "packages" (I don't need most of the foreign channels)

Truth be told, I don't see ant progress to resolve the freezing issues.

sometimes small fix is not a simple fix. it takes times. im sure admins aware of that and reported already. sometime admisn can not reply all posts. so give some time and have patient. thanks for your cooperation.

your reports do not fall on def ears here.
The thread descriptions are looked at often by service administration, he doesn't actually open the threads to read them (never does), thats why a descriptive thread title is important.
I do open them on occasion but not too often. Mostly the threads titles work for me too for sending in these reports, and I always receive an answer which is .... Report has been forwarded.
Sometimes I see results and other times not.

You have to remember thou, I can't report a channel every time someone posts in here. That would be crazy, as then my emails to the right person would be overwhelmed with just those reports. So I give each new report some time and then send in a few at a time. I am not always up to date with my reports, but I do also know the server adnmin guy is also looking at these thread (titles).
Not all reports here are in need of sending in , as some freezing is temporay and that sort of thing.

I have re-send this channel issue in again just now.

I don't know about the playlists. Make certain your playlist is up to date. A couple of the channels (like CNN and MSNBC ) are at the tailend, in the Testing/TMP section. It is 9200ish on some. On Kodi PVR Stalker client, they're in the 820ish region.

I don't show any stream on CNN for two days. I got lucky finding the new URLs using alternate search engine bing, google and yahoo didn't find anything but tons of links to the old URL for the forum. I was panicked, I was laying awake and night sweating bullets and having nightmares about the cable company coming to kidnap my family. I would not have cared if every channel showed the new URL but my clients would not have appreciated it. A few of them only wanna see the girls on Fox News.

what i found out is there are indeed different playlists depending on the portal used (at least for iptv66) portal s1 stopped working so i needed to change it to s2 and that necessitated downloading a new playist with the new portal. and what do you know? the missing channels now available.

Crazed 2.0, I have 2 subscriptions of IKS66 portal S1 and both seem to be down since last evening. But I see you posted "channels are working" and nothing in announcements. And I see others in this thread mentioning they are switching portals. Do moderators encourage the change of Portals when something like this occurs, or do just wait it out until further notice? So not exactly sure since information on Portal S1 doesn't seem to be an issue on this forum as of yet. So may be my equipment. Thanks

First of all, how the heck are we supposed that CNN and MSNBC have moved?? Also they have moved to the end of the channel list where the non-English channels reside. I use Potato to filter out the non-English channels, and that is why I don't see the Temp CNN and MSNBC. Will these channels be moved back to their original positions eventually?

All I get I get (on portal 3) when I click the original channel (ch 200) is the standard DOWN channel scenario. I get no pop up window with the info you describe.

Another alternative to save you repeating this info on multiple posts would be to put a STICKEY post in the Announcements section called 'Channel re-assignments'.

Been here over 4 years now. Frequently I'll post a channel problem (either freezing or down) and that channel has a solid problem at that moment. Yet many times, for whatever reason, that channel
is back up shortly. Whether it is fixed, or the problem is external, or short lived, I don't know. WGN WAS down when I posted it. When it returns for whatever reason, I always get blowback
indicating it must be a personal problem, or I was mistaken cause it's fine for others. There ought to be a way on the forum to delete my own posts when I see the issue is corrected.
In the future, I will wait 24 hours before posting a channel error to ensure it is a solid failure.

The reason why i posted all these replies with these channel issues today is because it seems to me like the new URL migration and the issues it was to solve is perhaps working :)
I was not trying to give you static bud, just an update is all.
I know you do post problem channels and i report as many as I can,I just do not always report here that they been reported :)
Except today,cause I was trying to show that maybe the URL thing helped.

Crazed.,. I know you are a laid back guy not prone to criticism and you have a tough job. I'm just saying that over the years channel problems are subject to many variables such as portal,
ISP service, weather, and much more. It's just that at times I get that feedback of of 'what's your problem dude?? It works fine for me'.

Regardless, I love this service and the work you and the other guys do outstanding and applauded!!!

By the way, I know about the URL changes with CNN and MSNBC, but are there other changes in the works?? As I said, I did not get the notification window for CNN and MSNBC in portal 3.

I think that FXX channel changed locations ( I could be wrong because I am using a m3u Playlist to check these things), but other then that I have heard nothing else.

ye it's not the message at the bottom of the screen...that window disappear when start using the app....it's the all screen in place of the video streaming.....im sure it is also on everybody else it is ch.200 and 209

thanks for the info. if it has been working fine then I would not change anything until I get confirmation that something is wrong on my end. I would turn off everything first, reboot modem first, router and box then try again.

I'm using iptv66 with the m3u list on my cell phone with iptv extreme pro, but I can only watch the channels with wifi, when I use 4GLTE I can not see the channels, only the movies, before I could see everything, I have tmobile

YES network still down. As one moderator stated; The powers that be only look at the header so no one may read this. Just an observation as someone new to IPTV. It seems when a channel goes down, it is down for quite some time. Examples are Comedy Central, and NBC New York. It would definitely help if someone in the know could explain the problem and give an idea how long it may take to restore. It does not seem that IPTV is ready for prime time. Fortunately, I did not "cut the cord".
I got IPTV to receive channels I could not normally receive. YES network for Yankee games is an example. Hopefully this is restored before baseball season, but it is nice to have for NY sports in off season. It is probably a lack of the understanding of the technology and my fault. However, a little more info from the technicians that operate and maintain this IPTV service would be beneficial.
Using .m3u list with perfect player on Firestick and on smart TV with Ott Player.
I would be happy to "cut the cord" but only when the reliability is better than it is now.

If I find multiple channels with errors, I post them together in the same post. But usually, I discover channel errors one at a time, and to get a quick resolution, I post them as I discover them.

Well I can't say all channels as I can't flip through all of them in a few minutes. That said at the top of the hour for about 10 minutes and again at the bottom of the hour, channels either kick out, freeze, and or go into a loop. This is happening like clockwork. Every channel I try is that way. Just FYI for the people running this. That said, I've flipped to Kodi Magic Build and have no problems so it is not my end. Has to be the service so just reporting. I had and have the same issues. All channels are freezing, after 1minute it goes blank, and if it comes back it keep freezing up and adio is still alien talk. And I tried everything. Posted a thread, got some good advice, but none works. My service is iptv on my mags 254 and 256. Revoting the device, resetting the iptv on the website, rebooting the modem and router, everything ad still nothing. Getting just discouraged to turn on the device.

Well, Watching the Royal Rumble was like going Back and Forth in Time when Viewing on Chnl 160...! The 17" Lappy had No Problem at all...! Today 160 is Freezing again and again...! Most of the UK Chnls are doing the same...! It's hard to believe a Service like this has lasted so long and even more People are coming on board which can only mean more interruptions in viewing pleasure...! Wish it would get Resolved...!
