Sorry to be a pessimist, I seem to always have problems with viewing channels, most of them do not work and the guide comes in as and when it wants too. I only have 45 days left to run and I will not be renewing my service with NFPS, I must admit that I am no guru but reasonably computer literate, as are most of the people on here, I do read the forum and I can understand from time to time you may have server issues and like myself most people don't mined the odd drop here and there, but its getting to often now and to be honest its not worth the headache anymore, so I wish you guys all the best for the future.....

P.S Just a quick breakdown on what I have done in the past...

Nvidia Tv shield
Broadband: 74mb
Kodi 16.1
Use built in stalker client for PVR
Stalker EPG updater (********** add-ons) auto setup
Rest MAC and portal (several times)
changed MAC and portals (several times)

and of late when Sky Sports 1 does work, it buffers like hell

with as many people using nfps iptv if there were ongoing issues the forums would be flooded with complaints, there are some posting with issues but that is expected with so many factors contributing when using iptv, as you have probably done numerous times already, check your complete set-up from start to finish, sometimes the dumbest thing can give you grief and more often than not it is a simple fix, I was at my buddy's last night who uses nfps and there was no issue with live tv, in fact it ran quite smooth, he uses the built in pvr stalker from kodi (16.1) and for the most part the guide is populated but does not use the epg updater, the box he is using is an m8s, 2G(RAM), 16G(ROM), from what he tells me nfps has been working well for weeks now, not sure what portal he is on or if that would even make a difference

If you go from one place to another or from one device to another and you're having a problem, you need to shut down the device and do an IPTV Reset. Wait approximately 15 minutes before restarting the device.

I noticed the last couple days that ITV and ITV2 are cloned. Looks like ITV2 is showing the stream for ITV according to what the handy dandy guide says. Just posted as an FYI. I also noticed that U.S. TLC channel still has the guide information written in Spanish but the spoken language is English. Everyone don't freaqk out. Quirky, but still well worth the subscription!

All 3 of these channels below have been down for at least 2 months.

- Channel 816 - TVN: Labeled as Arica TV shows the Icon of TVN (Television Nacional de Chile). Arica TV is boring and freezes a lot, channel used to be TVN and is the national channel of Chile were as Arica TV is a smaller town in the North of the Country. Please bring back TVN.

- Channel 831 - MEGA: This channel only displays a timer that counts up from 3:14: 53 to 3:15:21. This is displayed when the channel is down for the night. Seems stuck here.

- Channel 832 - TV Chile: Channel is down, stays on "Working" at lower left forever.

In Kodi settings > TV did you clear data? That should get the channels back (all of them).

It is tough because there are so many variables involved. It could be anything, literally anything. If he knows anyone else in the apartment complex, you might try hooking to their TV. It would be really nice if they had the same ISP, too, so you could address a couple of variables at one time.

I am not a serial poster as I do read through a lot of the posts and most of the answers are there, just seems odd to me why there are so many issues with viewing channels, like I said, I have tried most scenarios, there not much more I can do and my brother is having similar issues and he's using the Amazon Fire TV box, but thanks for your reply

The only thing I can evince from your first post is that Sky Sports 1 is buffering. There's not much you can do if a single channel is buffering, other than post in the Channel Issues forum. If the buffering is more widespread, you have to look at all of the variables, including the ISP plan's parameters, the possibility of the ISP throttling or blocking content and the routing of the stream.

As to your notion that things have gotten worse, I just can't agree with that. Issues are nowhere near as prevalent or as often as before. My own set-ups are better and there are far less issues reported here compared to the past. Now, that being said, if you are experiencing an issue, it doesn't make your situation any better, and I understand and sympathize with that.

I got to a point where I was fed up also. Too many times were channels going out, no working EPG, lack of information from the host(s). If it gets to the stage where things stabilize and I'm reading that things are working reasonably well, I would certainly jump aboard again. Till that time, I will hang on to my cash. As I see it, there is not much point in having access to 700+ channels if most of the time they aren't working or freezing etc. In the early going I was satisfied to let things go through it's growing pains and thought that after a year it would have things working smoothly most of the time. Alas, I was left with disappointment and decided at renewal time not to sign on again. Keeping my ear to the ground in hopes things get sorted out for the better. Good luck to all.

If it's on all channels, your bandwidth is getting limited, probably by your ISP, or someone upstream of them. If you are using cable internet, your neighbors may be part of the issue.

If you're using SPMC, only NFPS has audio properly synched. IKS66 might, but I don't know since I haven't tried with them. Rocket you can forget about. I had Rocket on my Android box but it was completely hopeless with audio sync. Rocket only seems to work well on MAG254 from what I have experienced

Note 1: If using Kodi 17 upgrade to pvr stalker client 2.8.0, version 2.7.1 is known to have issues with channel urls that aren't prefixed.

Note 2: Some of the HTTP 40x Error channels might work intermittently, the ones that actually work seem to be the ones that take a very long time to pull up in Kodi but eventually work. Behind the scenes the server is reporting HTTP 404 Not Found and the client keeps retrying and eventually gets it to work, I am only trying 5 times before marking it as bad due to how long it takes. There is probably a problem that needs to be corrected there.

Note 3: I seem to pretty consistently get problems with the Spanish channels when testing, I'm not sure if they are going up and down during the day or why they keep reporting 404.

Trying iptv66.com as a server with no luck what so ever. A couple crap free channels but nothing worth watching. Wrote support a couple times got a we reset it now go to the forums lol. Using Kodi and stalker client. I have a few subscriptions and a Android box so I have a little clue what I'm doing. The fact a couple of the free channels out there plays make me think its not my end. Any other channel that I paid to watch gives a "Failed to get stream url" error. Any advice or helps appreciated, thanks

I have included the tutorial for configuring PVR Stalker client below. Make sure everything aligns with what is discussed in the tutorial.

Did you use the Donation Checker to assess the account, making sure the MAC address is properly linked, the account is listed as active and you are using the portal url listed there in the PVR Stalker client's configuration?

This would be better discussed in the Kodi > PVR Clients subforum farther down the page.
