Man, I'm one of those that never complain about the service. But today, I got a little pissed off when watching the olympics at channel Punto 2 (7780), at the best part, the image started to get choppy and broken. I tried stopping and playing the channel, also checked the wifi signal. Everything was ok, but it continued unwatchable. It happens a lot on Latino channels. Please fix it, many people will be thankful for this.

Sure, there is the occasional freezing. That's nothing new. But recently there have been some new video issues.

It seems that the audio will continue to play just fine, but the video will pause, fast forward, and generally skip around until it all comes back into sync a few seconds later.

I have noticed that with EPG Ninja when it does not get the guide... still seems to get some of the porn channels guide....

I used to have it to so it would just show the channels and no guide info (even have hide no info turned off) but still only can see channels that have guide info..... havent figured that one out yet.

this happens with the avov at times as well.
Had the Avov Vixo2 show only adult channels in guide and onscreen.
A power cycle was the only thing that fixed that it seemed.
Then had an AVov Fuse do the same thing but with that I just choose ALL when in the EPG and it was fixed. Next time the box was turned it on thou it was back to just the adult channels showing which was fixed with changing the EPG content option to ALL again.

All UK channels seem to buffer and do that fast forwarding thing every 15 - 30 seconds. USA channels don't do this. I thought it was random channels at first, but it seems to only be the UK channels.

This is a major bummer b/c all the channels showing UFC at the moment are either buffering or down. :(

Go to the Donation Checker for your service and do an IPTV Reset. Make sure your box is disconnected when you do the IPTV Reset. Wait a few minutes after the reset before reconnecting your box.

After doing a reset, wait at least 10 minutes before entering user and password to log in. This allows channels to populate iptv. After that login and when the box is booting click the set up button, go to servers, then portal, make sure you have the portal server name assigned to you by provider. Exit and let the box reboot and reload. You should be good.

again my box(avov) has not worked in weeks.same problem as most.channels are showing up but not loading(well a couple?). have reset more times than i can count.and followed instructions to the letter.i really have no idea what else to do.but resetting aint done shit for me.i did notice the reset site days remaining counter is working great.im watching it go down while im getting nothing.

For weeks I can only see the music video channels and some international channels. VOD shows the movies but will not play them. They forget not everybody buys direct from them so resetting the connection at their server does not work for us, as you say they should get a better server or reset everybody's connection on their end so we can fix the problems.

Try going to the setting in the home page....then system info ............factory default the box ........and then input your information again......................reboot box and try VOD and Live-tv ............this is for the Avov boxes only

I was just following the procedures it was putting on the first threat. They requested to put one thread for each channel is down.

Sorry, there isn't a mechanism or place to request specific channels. Just to let you know, channel begging is frowned upon...we get what we get. Also, there isn't any updates on particular channels from the server guys. They lurk in the forums, but never make their presence known, mostly for their security. During PPVs, you can check the Sports forum to find out what is working for a particular event from user reports.

You could try a note to their contact e-mail if this is a big concern for you. Server techs may have just overlooked the change, but there's a good chance than your e-mail may be ignored as well as that's usually for 'donation' issues.

Apologies if that came across as grumpy or aggressive...
Just don't understand what the point of this section is if those who can fix faults don't read it and if they do read it either just say thanks, fixed or thanks, or, thanks, will look into it.

How do the people who can fix things know what needs fixing if they are not checking this section? Surly it's a huge/valuable resource for maintaining a high quality service and an excellent way to maintain a good rapport with those donating each year.... Just seems bonkers to ignore it.

the format of the thread title shows the administration of the channel issues and other things.

The ting is that the administration created this Channel Issues thread with the thinking that they would only have to look at the main page of this forum and could see the threads all listed and with the correct format of the thread titles, they could also see if there is an issue or etc...
They never had any plans in reading each thread in this Channel Issues forum. That would be a undertaking they have not time to undertake.

So you see, the threads titles and posting in correct format are what the administration had in mind for their ease of reference.
That kinda went south with the many incorrectly posted threads in here and the administration kinda gave up trying to keep this forum in order.
The thread titles are still looked at , but rarely is a thread opened by the administration in this forum area :eek:
