Well I have been subscriber for almost a year now, and I can say if there is a major sports event, you can't rely on this service, almost all Major sports event through out the year the channels have been down..with no update, no response, no care...

Well I have been subscriber for almost a year now, and I can say if there is a major sports event, you can't rely on this service, almost all Major sports event through out the year the channels have been down..with no update, no response, no care...

And the worst part is that, when a mod finally should reply it is only to tell that everyone is idiots and that the reason why it is not working is due to broken hardware or poor internet connection.
Usually it is the same mods saying that all the channels is working so fine and in hd, and if we continue to complain we will get banned from the forum.
If papapio were just a little serious then it should instantly shut down for new user untill the massive freezing, buffering and channels not working at all is fixed.
They should remove the channel that had not been working for months from the list, i could easy make a list of more than 100 channels that is offline atm. And good bye to me, i will properly get banned because of this post

This seems to be a service that operates in reverse, with service going from good to poor. Seems to be long on excuses and short on quality. I feel it's a waste to even bother posting since there seems to be a disconnect between reporting channel/quality issues and any expediency in resolution.

Here's a tip: remove all non-working channels and maybe users won't get so irked. Providing a service is more than taking people's money. Quality Control appears to be an unknown with this service. Doing the math from the numbers of users would indicated income in the millions, so how they can justify such poor operation is uncomprehendable!

Im with you on this. I have moved some people over to iptv stalker after using it for a few months with out any issues but the last few months its got worse and worse. I don't know what else is out there but think im going to try some other ones as I feel there could be more done. We pay for the service and for me it should be up more than its down. It would help if they reported an issue or had a page that said there was an issue and then it was updated every 24 hours or so. For me though its beginning an issue as I seem to find most channels don't work when a big event is on, football, NHL Playoffs, ect. Im not one for ranting to but we pay for a service so some updates would be nice.

I have been without all but one euro match, then had to use Mobdro and its free. No bbc1, bbc2, itv1, skysports (all 5) and its not only us on this thread, theres more out there with the same issues. Too many problems with this, i can understand free links not working. I would have paid more than they asked if it was still cheaper than sky and it actually worked more but im definitely done with this. I wont be renewing when my sub is up. Poor service. I run a business and find that when things are going wrong or about to. It is better to let your customers know either in advance or while its going on. They normally really appreciate it and calm down.

Burying your head in the sand, ignoring your customers is a bad Road to go down.

The amount of customers that say "thanks for letting me know. Not many suppliers actually do that" is remarkable.

It gives people confidence that you are on top of the situation. At the moment, the service looks a little clueless.

My advise to you man, DO NOT do it, meaning... do not resell something like this in such quantities, period. Unless you have a really, and I mean... REALLY cool soul and really 'take-it-easy' nature and are able to tell you numerous customers: 'go f.... yourselves guys, I can't do anything to help you now', when times come and be ready to disappear as well from some of your customers radars, because when shit really hits a fan, you'll be in much trouble, people will look for you, curse you, demanding their money back and some of them will want to brake your legs, or else... I know some guys that been doing this 'illegitimate' crap (on and off, on and off) since early 90's (like: cable boxes, modems, sat TV, phones, x-boxes, wifi routers,etc.) and they all are kind of bad as.h.les, who care less about keeping their people happy, just making money while it lasts, and when it badly goes south... they just change their phone numbers, cut their relationships and start over again under new phony names in different neighborhoods (where new potential customers do not know them yet). So if you can behave, like that... it's up to you, if not, just leave it and just probably 'test' it for yourself and see how it works out for you...
You gotta know that all this stuff is just temporary, not really reliable and for 'testing' purposes only. Everything that is not completely legit and supported by third countries dudes... really performs the way it is and you should not expect much of reliability, quality and support on it.
Always been that way and will be... Last 25-30 years of a history of such things show just that...

I've had much less freezing during the day and early evening here on west coast of NA, but every night at 8:00 PM PST EXACTLY, it all goes to hell. It's quite odd, Speedtest says my internet connection is the same, and streams from non-Stalker addons are not affected. I've see this same comment in other treads as well. Is it possible that there's a DoS attack or some glitch that happens every day at 0300 UTC? Maybe some scheduled maintenance that slows the stream down?

The mods do not control what channels are up or down. Nobody except for the people that run the server know when or if a channel will come back up again. So exactly what good is it going to do anyone if they post in a thread that a certain channel is down? All any of us can do is wait and hope channels will come back up online again. We are all here to help each other and complaining that nobody is helping bringing channels back up again won't help unfortunately. You can email Papio all you want till your fingers hurt and it won't help getting certain channels back up. At this point all you can do is have a back up in case the channels you need go down unfortunately.

I have to chime in here as well. I have two boxes with equal setup but with one difference - one has an IKS subscription and the other has Rocket. IKS has been cruising along with no problems. Rocket has been buffering and freezing on a constant basis. So clearly a Rocket problem only. Very disappointing!

Another major difference I have noticed... with IKS I can switch from IPTV Stalker to PVR Stalker at will. With Rocket I have to do IPTV Reset every time.

IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) and IKS (Internet Key Sharing) are two very different animals. Comparing them is really apples and oranges. With IPTV you just need a strong internet connection and a stream. With IKS you need a satellite dish and any old internet connection (dial-up would do) with a connection to a key sharing service. With IKS the video and audio come through the dish and only the keys come from the internet.

I'm not complaining here, I understand the concept of testing and I've been into it since the AVR days. I have a legit subscription plus OTA (over the air), and I don't actually watch much TV anyway. It's a hobby, but at this point I'm having trouble justifying renewing my donation when Stalker is unwatchable in prime time here on the Pacific coast.

I posted in the hope that the additional information about the buffering starting at EXACTLY 8 PM PST would help someone trying to troubleshoot the problem. Something is scheduled to occur at that hour, it can't be a coincidence every night.

I constantly find myself trying to tune to this channel because the guide says that there is something good playing. The channel is down. The channel has been down. For as long as I can remember.

The channel lineup shouldn't be a wish list. If the channel doesn't work and it can't be quickly resolved pull it from the lineup.

Not only is a forever dead channel annoying to users, but it is completely misleading to potential clients. No honor among thieves?

To clarify, we have not paid for any services, we have "Donated". with Donation they are not bound to anything.
There are alternate services, more reliable, better responses, but we are not supposed to say it here, read the forum rules.

Ok cheers for the clarification, I'm suggesting the level of service has deteriorated significantly in recent weeks from when people first made these "donations" and understandably expectations would rightly be based on this initial level service and not the response of what boils down to - so what you didn't get what you expected, that's just the way it is - if this is the case then I'd be right to be looking elsewhere. All that's required really would be an update on status to help quell people's concerns but sadly none seem forthcoming.

There is nothing anyone can do here on this site, this is a support site but they have no control of what channels are brought backup again. You can try and email papio direct but that usually doesn't help. Eventually most channels get brought back up again but it takes a bit of patience and time unfortunately.

I do not think that you will see the VOD or an option for VOD thru the Stalker application.

With the dedicated iptv receivers you would see the VOD
Avov, Mag and Dreamlink T1 receivers

If this isn't done at the server side, is it possible to use custom logos within Kodi? Have tried but it gets ignored for the ones on the remote server

When I woke up this morning, I clicked on 4seven to watch Come Dine With Me and almost fell over when I saw the stream was 1080p! I double-checked to make sure I wasn't seeing a stream from an addon and it was definitely from my pvr. I ran some errands and when I returned home, switched on 4seven again and the stream was back to SD.

What was this all about? Anyone have a clue?

This seems to be an issue with the 22. server. Hopefully it will be fixed sooner than later. Unfortunately, anyone who donates as of a couple of months back gets put on that server.

You can, with the 10.2+ versions of the IPTV Stalker Plus. Unfortunately, the server techs don't have working settings for 22.iptvrocket.tv, but the VOD is available on all other urls.
