Check your modem. Usually older modems will cause this kinda of issue. The only other thing it could be is your isp throttling you.

This is the worst buffering problem I've ever experience using Kodi 16 all my channels were pausing continuously every few seconds. Went to check my ISP connection, change to different VPN sites, proxy DNS didn't help. Check Kodi settings if there's anything I could tweak. After I did this under Programs 'Maintenance Tool' my buffering problem is gone.

Just because you can stream with another service doesn't mean your modem is good. I have seen this issue a lot. I set my Neighbor up a month ago with a TV Online+ he had a DOCSIS 2.0 modem he can stream Netflix no problem right? Wrong he had constant buffering totally un-watchable We have the same internet my house was fine so we started talking he had not upgraded anything in a while so he called our local ISP talked to them they sent out a new DOCSIS 3.0 modem and we plugged it in and started the IPTV up worked like a champ. There is a huge difference in speeds on the modems and it sucks that more ISP don't just automatically upgrade you but only wait until you complain.


The other thing you can do is try a VPN service see if your packets are getting throttled that is really the only other thing it can be.

There are many things that will cause what you are describing and its most likely either your setup or ISP provider... Take a look at this:
Here is a c/p from another site that explains the buffering situation.. As some of us are not experiencing the issue all the time:

What you have described is very typical of ISP capacity problems. This has been a major problem in my area where the ISP's lack either the total available bandwidth to cover its commitment or they lack the infrastructure to distribute bandwidth at full capacity. I've had people paying for 30mbps that at peak times would get less then 1mbps.

If you can prove your ISP is incapable of providing an acceptable service through logging speed tests over time you should report it to your local authority that is responsible for the regulation of ISP's. Then you should report to your ISP that you have reported them to the authority

Honestly, nfps now loads faster and no buffering after they pulled off a lot of iptv channels. I am down at 445 channels from 795 channels in a couple of days. All of HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Sky movie channels and ESPN sports channels also now missing :( Please put back AMC, WGN America :mad: I have 1-year subscription (donation).

They're still there. If you are using Kodi, go to TV > Channels > Access the side bar menu, making sure Group is set to "All" and not a subset.

I thought the same thing so I changed the speed test to a server in Alaska and it reported half the speed I got on the default local server. You may get your Mb to your ISP but not to the NFPS server. Can your ISP fix that?

Unfortunately when most people get buffering and freezing they automatically blame the server when it's there ISP. Glad you figured out what your issue was! The only time I ever see any issues is when they are doing work to the server.

If you have an AVOV or any Android box you can download some free addons for the games until the supporters here fix them, if ever happen. As for PPV they are usually on 455 or on BTsports.

I don't think so... No freezing or buffering here, plus if there was the forum would be flooded with complaints. Check your system and who knows your ISP could have changed something. On top of that what are you using? If you have an under powered unit like the "sticks" out there that can be an issue as well.. Also check my post above #4.. That explains different issues as well

Are you sure? Sky One, Sky Atlantic are all working fine here. Sky One shows 'Stargate SG-1' and Sky Atlantic playing 'Cold Case' Eastern Time. It's only Sky Living been down for a long time.

If I were you I'll just find that show in Kodi Exodus or Velocity if you can't watch it here.

You should read post number 4 again... YouTube and other services have absolutely nothing to do with it.... And more than likely if it's happening all the time it is an issue in your end from the setup all the way to the ISP provider. YouTube's servers aren't located in the same place as this!

It's actually gotten way better lately now that they've closed a lot of the loopholes which allowed people to access the service without subscription.

Hang tight and hope they continue to improve... but unless you want your friends and family to bug you everytime the service gets flakey I'd keep the joys of iptv to myself. Hehehe

I have been informed that NFPS is having problems bringing International Channels back and we are not sure if it will be possible to bring them back again. NFPS is still working on a way to do this but it does not look good at this time. I am asking that members stop posting all International Channel request at this time. I will do my best to keep you updated should things change.

I don't think so... No freezing or buffering here, plus if there was the forum would be flooded with complaints. Check your system and who knows your ISP could have changed something. On top of that what are you using? If you have an under powered unit like the "sticks" out there that can be an issue as well.. Also check my post above #4.. There are many things that will cause what you are describing and its most likely either your setup or ISP provider... Take a look at this:
Here is a c/p from another site that explains the buffering situation.. As some of us are not experiencing the issue all the time:

What you have described is very typical of ISP capacity problems. This has been a major problem in my area where the ISP's lack either the total available bandwidth to cover its commitment or they lack the infrastructure to distribute bandwidth at full capacity. I've had people paying for 30mbps that at peak times would get less then 1mbps.

If you can prove your ISP is incapable of providing an acceptable service through logging speed tests over time you should report it to your local authority that is responsible for the regulation of ISP's. Then you should report to your ISP that you have reported them to the authority

That is xxxmbps from your ISP to you but what happens between your ISP and the server? That is probably where the freezing comes from. Do a tracert and you will see where the freezing is from

I find this a very good site to keep track of your ISP and have often complained to my ISP about not getting consistent promised speed.

Did you read the above? They can be reported as down but we are at the mercy of the people running the server.. No matter how many times a channel or channels are posted as down doesn't make a bit of difference unfortunately... We have to wait until channels that are down are brought back up

From what I'm reading from NFPS, it's not looking good for international channels that are down.

Hopefully they are saying this to exceed expectations at a later date but this is the most recent comment from a moderator:

Do you use KODI? If so, I would take a look at ZemTV as well as Castaway and SportsDevil.

The moderators and everyone else only knows when there is a problem just like everyone else... There is not any warning... The only thing to do is if you go down or have problems is to check here before messing with your settings. Nobody is notified period., I just turned on my STB emulator and channels are playing. Watching a movie on TCM channel now

As I said the mods here don't know when anything will go down just like the rest of us.. This is a support site to get you up and running/trouble shoot. Almost all of the time everyone is in the dark when they are working on things and when the service goes up and down unfortunately. The service goes up and down sometimes without any explanation.
