If possible can NFPS IPTV team move all the Indian/Pakistani channels from [1100-1222] to Channels [600-722], as that is where they usually are on DISH.

The channels that are currently at [600-800] range are all listed by different countries and do not really have proper names/channel numbers/EPG that would make them necessary to be there.

All the indian/pakistani channels already have proper Names/Logos/EPG but have 4 Digit channel numbers (1101.. etc), which is a bit harder to navigate to using keypad on remotes. 3 Digit channel numbers would be better and then they will also have almost same numbering like on DISH.

Please consider this request from your subscribers, it would make many people happy and the lineup will look similar to that of on DISH.

Looks like different folks have channels numbered differently….Im pretty sure on my epg CNN International is 101 and BBC World News is 111….both are down.

101 and 111 represent the order in the epg. The official channel numbers are available in the channel list. The first number is the order number. The second number is the official channel number. Thus, CNN Int'l is the 101st channel in the list, but is officially channel 201.

Me too. I've been having a lot of problems with freezing. It may be that I'm using Kodi on a Firestick. I really only watch a lot of Sports. Today I found myself having to go to a free sports add on to be able to watch ESPN without constant freezing and kickoffs. I know I have more than sufficient speed on my Internet. I even used the buffering fix .I thought that this problem would be alleviated when I purchased my Mac address. But I seem to be having the same problems that I had when I didn't know better and was using one of the Many clones that are out there. A lot of people are asking me if it's worth it to purchase a Mac address. I'm holding back my judgment until I've been using it for at least 3 months. I figure by then I'll have learned all the tweaks and tricks.

More than likely it's on your end... There are 1,000s of customers how many do you see complaining? Do some homework and you might actually figure out your problem!

These are the sport channels that are unwatchable due to extensive freezing sporadic sound omission 140 espn us, 141 espn nu, 142 espn news, 144 espn2 us, 150 fox sports 1 us, 159 nbcsn. All sports are freezing just some worse than others. Just did a speed test I am at 92.43 mpbs.

I am feeling bored and regret as well to possibly bore others with my recurrent unsolved questions of not being able ,for some quite good time now ,to view Canada 1 channel 1581 on AVOV .Much earlier I was praisng the system, their technicians and other associated personnel in their fine performing work they have credited this working .Apparently it seems temporarily but not to be the case for me until my case is resolved .It won't be long for me either to join this new subscription increase policy .Perfectly understand that such a system cannot be fail proof ,but hope that at least this channel be performing at the earliest .

I understand what you guys mean. I had that screen during the kickoff show and I also had buffering as well. But why complain these things happen. When you really want to watch something bad like the wwe ufc or a boxing match always have a backup just in case. I watched the whole ppv on sports devil without any hiccups at all. All UK Channels spot on. However all American channels gone pear shaped. It seems to me like this is more an issue with the encoding on the server that is creating the streams in the USA, rather than an ISP issue, which they always seem to be having an issue with. (seems to be a blanket response).All American channels work perfectly previously on SD MP3 encoded. Presently with MPEG 2 Audio buffer all over the place...why change something that was working perfectly from day one ?

I use Verizon DSL in the country that runs between 1.5 to 3 megs and runs smooth BUT when everyone is streaming Most Internet connections use shared bandwidth at some point in the path, for ADSL this will be at the local exchange. The degree of sharing used to be referred to as the contention ratio.

Basically, if your Servers become more active at night your speed can be affected.

It is possible for ISPs to use "traffic shaping" to throttle back certain types of traffic like IPTV but I believe this is not the norm - or at least, ISPs rarely admit it. Some ISPs have been known to restrict usage by people who they believe are making unfair and excessive use of their broadband - but I think this mostly applies to a very small percentage of people.

They can request more trunk lines but I doubt they will get it when they see what is eating up the bandwidth

whereas cable modems are based on nodes(how many on, & what type of usage) this is not the case for DSL. In DSL it used to be how far from the CO(central office) you were, this is not the case anymore since most DSL providers have switched to Fiber Optic. Now it's how far from the switching boxes you are, these are the small cabinets above ground on many corners or easements. This negates the old rule of how far from the CO you are. This is what I have and prefer it by far to cable modem. My speeds stay constant all day long.

Thanks a lot for changing the 640x360p to real standard widescreen sd/dvd 720x480p resolution. (these do not show squashed with normal setting)
makes a lot of difference for the videophile.. :)

edit: I noticed the switch to mp2 audio influences the video decoding on some devices though. very odd hope you get it fixed too.

I noticed that trend to, last week I start re-logging all the resolutions, and then I got busy, and they they did the MP2 thing just the other day and now the resolution increased, and I think it works good on a MAG not as jumpy and alot smoother though.

quite sure its not on my side. When Concert Chan acts up, I switch to the similar Palladia (374 I believe)(which is based out of US) and its usually fine. Most other chan I watch on rocket are usually fine and if issues, usually of short duration Plus if several act up I switch to one of the other providers I use and id also issues there I know the restart my MAG 254 and internet modem.

It has been discussed. I don't think anyone has the definitive answer. Within Kodi, you can change the format while watching a channel by bringing up the viewer controls. In the menu, click the movie reel, choose video mode and select Stretch 16:9. If desired, you can choose "Set as default for all videos" at the bottom of the dialog.

Some streams do not respond to the Video Mode adjustment in Video Settings. For example, I was watching a game on NBA League Pass last night and the stream looked to be in 4:3 format, but it would not respond to Video Mode tweaks. In that instance I was able to approximate a 16:9 format using Zoom amount (same menu) and setting the slider to ~1.32. Yes, it does clip the top and bottom, but since the court is centered, the clipping is not that noticeable. This certainly would not work for most contexts.

What I can't get my head around is that if there was a problem with the boxes then ALL channels should uniformly have been in 4:3…yet its only yet american ones. So obviously the boxes are being quite selective at which channels they want to mess up for us. Bizarre.

@thegame15 you can add to that list espn2 - it's a duplication of espnU, the miami channels (abc, cbs and fox) - heavy pixelation, fox sports southwest, who, at the best of my investigation, is not that channel, instead it's kens5, cbs from san antonio, tx and also punto 2 (wkaq 2.2 puerto rico) - black and white picture but ok sound (at the time i'm writing puerto rican baseball is on the air).

the channels only work on sundays and only for the fox and cbs regional games (1pm and 4pm games), national games are out of the picture.
reminder: even though we have 7 sunday ticket channels, we might not get all the games as they are on different channels inside the sunday ticket realm (today it's on channels 705 to 715 on d-rekt-tv).
the only sure games we get are MIA@NYJ and PIT@SEA on the two CBS, TB@IND on FOX Orlando, ARI@SF on FOX Miami, NYG@WSH and PIT@SEA on sky sports 2 and (probably) gala tv, red zone coverage on sky sports 5, MIN@ATL and PIT@SEA on fox sports latinamerica, STL@CIN and ARI@SF on fox sports 2 latinamerica.
