I wonder how this will go over with the original creators of the MOL2
The guy on reddick is waiting for playstore approval, I see. A paid app and a fee version is expected if it is approved (which I have my doubts it will be approved, because it is not his creation to earn profit from).
He is also advertising that he will sell this to any provider that wants to buy the app exclusive for his service.
He is trying selling something he never created.

mmmmm... It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

It's the app the user has a demo not the iptv services, he may have found the APK and tweaked it.

User renamed it and tweaked the app so don't think they can go after him.

Playstore may not allow it thou, as the guy did mention they are making it difficult... which is good.

I saw the video. Probably his tweeking includes the scaled down version for the 'free' version to be at playstore, along with full 'Paid" version.
It's not his creation, is bottom line.

I did alert the actual creators of the MOL2 just a few minutes ago.
That MOL2 is a selling point for their devices, so I bet this will not go over good at all.
We will see what they think of the whole thing.

It's not the actual MOL2 app... looks like a mimic thru an emulator is how the guy has done this.
There seems to be no code included from the MOL2, just textures and icons (so it seems so far).
So with it being emulated and different code, this will never be as sharp or responsive as the actual MOL2

All of these DOL MOL etc., are all based on the Android TV Channels open source API's, so it is not hard to make an app that looks exactly like them.

It is in reality just another app... although it is an app that is not looked nicely upon by myself and prolly others :eek:
The guy has copied MOL2 but has not used any MOL2 code. He created his own, but he is making money from some else's ideas/creation and/or good name (not the first or last time we see that on the web).

Which brings me to the reason I found to keep it off our boards....
It's a paid version, therefore, we do not support it.
$10 bucks for two devices with option to add more devices with more pay.

Tried the App, just for my curiosity.
You can use the basic (not full ($Paid)) version, but it only has access to LiveTV (no VOD).

It is "less than" nothing special.
Other apps like PP, iptvSmarters, etc are all better user interface.
IMO, you are not missing anything!

I don't think we have to worry about that app :)
It is not the same as the original MOL2 in that many functions seen with the MOL2 are not available with this app (as mentioned earlier by someone)

Dreamlink T3 MOL2 is not going backwards, but it is that 'baked' app that is going backwards , as dishuser states.

@ BKman2020, theres bunch of apps but when it comes to dedicated box or built in box its not same (im sure you know it very well) :). I love built with box. you can download in cheap boxes but user experience is not same :)
