Hi fellows,
Just received my 3900 Buzz :) Thanks to Bob :)
Except I am having a hard time changing the MAC address?! cause when I press the Blue button on the remote "Change MAC address" pops up but when I press the "OK" button to change it, goes back to same MAC as the box came with?! while with my 3000, it will go to keyboard to start changing the MAC address?! Help please.
Thanks
once you press blue button and box pops up then instead of ok just click on mouse button and click inside of box with mouse and you will be able to change your Mac.:)

I did install a 60GB SSD into the 3900. Go to Setting - More - Storage & Reset
at this point you will see the drive and choose to format it.
You can check that the drive is installed by removing the small screw on the bottom of the unit and slide the door off.

I think you have to be patient ...and get used to the air mouse remote...and the box....3900 is a great box....

The Remote is RF and Not IR. This means you do not have to point the remote "at" the box to make it work. RF = radio frequency IR= infra red

Yes Bob,,,,,,,,, the air mouse remote is RF ....... Regular Buzztv Remote is IR ............The small Remote for the Buzztv 3100 is Bluetooth .........
I thought it was bluetooth but good to know that its RF. thanks for the info bwcbob:)

Hi Bob,
All I see after getting to Storage & Reset is "Kingston USB Drive" and "Factory Data Reset"?
which should I proceed with and what?
thanks

Hi Bob,
Is the drive that I am supposed to format called "Kingston Drive"?
and if that is the one, after I click on it , gives me options: Set up as removable storage, or, set up as device storage, or eject ?
I just want to make sure I am doing it right....please advise.
thanks
yes thats Kingston drive but don't factory reset. set is as a removable storage. don't set it up as a device storage.:)
