The Buzztv XRS 4000 looks like it is worth waiting for ........I have a 3900 ......... the XR 4000 is probably close in performance .....So the XRS 4000 would be a very nice upgrade from the 3900

Them 'Specs' posted above may not be reliable.

xrs 4000 sounds like a nice upgrade from a buzz 3000

not sure it would be an upgrade from the buzz 3900. Will look forward to people that have both boxes to give an opinion on the diff.
The buzz 3900 has a big improvement in pic from the buzz 3000
from the specs I don't see any advantage that makes me want to change.

Sorry Ryu, but I am not going to get XR or XRS after all cause I can not change MAC numbers on XR or XRS 4000 while I am easily doing that on 3000 and 3900 :) So, I am sticking with my 3900 :)

yes, but i used same MAC and all accounts were dummy accounts.
It was just a test at how many portals could be added without having to delete previous portals

It is a random thing and chances are astronomical probably, but when it happens (and it does), then I need a picture taken of the mac so I can then get it released.... Try updating from inside the Settings menu.

From the Home Screen, go to Settings, go to Device Preferences, go to About and you will see option for System Update.

That's correct and when you close the window the box shuts down

Ok i got a hold of BUZZ TV engineers on this Not Authorized show up on start up..

Using the Remote press the on and off button while it in the file download..
The box will Factory REST its self

Sure enough it works!!!

Note leave on the homepage until it asks for a reboot
then the new file will load!! (3mins or so)

Same issue here - left in on the home page for 10 minutes nothing. Tried 5 times.
I can get it to reload but still errors out with Device Not Authorized.
On my fourth one now.

leave it on after update from 5-10 minutes

Try Wifi or reboot your modem

Change your IP up a bit!!
wifi back to hard wire and reboot the modem

modem router runs the whole shop - lots of windows updates going on. Can't reboot so I let them sit.
Takes from 5 -10 minutes on second reboot.
