the play by play guy just said an interesting comment.
He said that in the old days Tiger might have one or two guys coming at him in each of these majors tournies. Guys like big Ernie and Phil. But now we have a whole nother breed of golphers that were brought up watching and trying to be Tiger.
Them guys are now holding their own under Tiger's pressure with many many guys in reach of winning this tournament and not just one or two guys within reach of Tiger.

DJ is coming on strong with 4 birdies in last 5 holes and one hole yet to play for DJ, which ties him with the leaders !!!

Tiger comes up just a ft or so on his Eagle shot, so a birdie should be in the books :)

Pressure at Augusta on Sunday may have put Molinari (defending Open Champ) back of the leaders after he lead all weekend... and Tiger putts out to take the out-right lead !!!

okay, now that shot of Tiger's was a fantastic shot off the 16th tee on par 3 ... frigging wow!!
His drives have been perfect , long fairways or short par 3s... just awesome to watch this today :)

Like that movie 'The Interview' it reminds me ... lol... 'Don't fight the Tiger, you will loose'

okay guys, this is it .. Tiger pitched on the 18th green and played it save. He is maybe 20 or 25 feet from the hole and has 2 putts to use for him to win this thing !!

that was the pga open.. he came close.
Tiger did win the pga championship just one month before that, but that was not a major tournie
