(Pending)
Open for picks... Remember, you can pick 4, and will get the bonus points for your favorite, but will count the top 3 official NASCAR scores of your picks. Not yet sure if this is a die-cast race, I'd like to see some participation, so we'll announce if it is a Diecast race either Saturday or Sunday.
Final starting order will be set after the qual races on Thursday
Watching the Duels tonight, getting used to the new numbers, but loving seeing "Stangs" racing. 19 is now Truex, 1 is now Kurt Busch, Daniel Suarez takes the 41 is and Jamie McMurray is 40... anyone else?

Wonder how long before Someone Swipes #17...!
Well #17 bumped #1, and takes out #43 as well.
Maybe not a real bump, but looked like Kurt got some bad air, a counter side draft.
Also involved was McMurray (#40) and A. Dillon spun too.
Kyle Busch wins stage 1; 4me2c and Ryu get 10 bonus points.
Order
1 Ky Busch
2 Bowman
3 Logano

Pretty clean race so far, and everyone seems to be on the same timing for the final pit stop/tires.

Did I just hear the Announcers say that this is the Last Restrictor Plate Race for Nascar...?!?
Did I just hear the Announcers say that this is the Last Restrictor Plate Race for Nascar...?!?
Yeah. I guess the new engine package can adjust for power. I have to do some reading up on this, but Dega is a ways off.

"Tapered spacers are still restrictor plates"
Larson has a tire go down, with 19 to go.
He could have taken more with him. Good driving on that flat.

"NASCAR announces 2019 baseline rules packages for Monster Energy Series

CONCORD, N.C. — NASCAR officials announced Tuesday two baseline rules packages for the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season, making a move to bolster competition with enhanced aerodynamic and engine configurations."
Brad loses a tire at 13. Caution.

Don't Look...!
37,8, 21, 12, 21,38,10,6, 41, 36, and 95
19 too, and 42, 13 as well
Red flag!
So what I figure is from the new package is that all but short tracks and road races will have the smaller spacers and aeroducts.
Another wreck.
17 takes out the 42, as well as the 4, 2, 9.

02-17-2019, 11:57 PM
Just 2 More to Go, will that bee Wreck-Free...?!?
5 races have smaller spacers but not the aeroducts, 2xPocono, Homestead, Darlington and Atlanta. It puts places like Chicagoland, Michigan, Fontana, Charlotte, Texas 1.5 milers on the same package as Daytona and Dega.
It looks like Bowyer took his self out after the pass, then collects 9 and others, 00.
Amazing that JJ is still in it, as well as BradK
Denny Hamlin ends his drought and wins the Daytona 500.
Points:
Almirola 13
Bowman 35
Bowyer 17
Ky Busch 45+10
Ku Busch 12
Elliott 24
Harvick 17
Johnson 30
Keselowski 32
Logano 42
Truex 2
Congrats to 4me2c with the high score of 127.
